It’s a great place to see concerts and tributes of your favorite artists if you get early yo can be super close to the stage but it’s standing so bring your best tennis shoes to enjoy the show get there one hour before the time of the show. Enjoy!!!

very attentive and super kind and helpful staff, security, and emt’s, a while back i almost passed out near the upstairs bar and the staff and security got me out quickly to get a breather other staff also got me a chair and a tall cup of water and also had their onsite emt check me out and she was so extremely kind and caring, 10/10 all around felt safe and recovered quickly thanks to them and enjoyed the rest of the show :)

Excellent location with a great atmosphere for hosting events. Highly recommend the balcony seats there are close to the restroom and bar.

I traveled from Mexico to attend shows at House of Blues San Diego and it quickly became one of my favorite venues in the United States. I’ve seen Steel Panther, Ingested, Fleshgod Apocalypse, The Zenith Passage, Shadow of Intent, and I’m already looking forward to seeing Hypocrisy there. The sound is excellent, the staff is professional, and the atmosphere is perfect for metal shows. Whether it’s symphonic death metal, brutal deathcore, or classic extreme metal, the crowd brings incredible energy. A fantastic venue for headbanging all night long.

Never been to the Voodoo Room but it was amazing! Love the art and how everything was set up. They could blast the AC a bit more, the standing area is a bit stuffy when it's packed. But all in all very cool, I timate venue.

HOB is such a fun venue to see a live show or host an event. Ask for Patrick and tell him you know me! ๐Ÿ˜

Infrequent trek to San Diego, but the venue is still good and the Paper Kites with Alexi on guitar and keyboards was great

Parking is available at various garages in the area make sure you book ahead. The doors open at 10 to allow you to get your seats and get in line for the buffet. The show starts at 11am but you can still get up and access the buffet for a bit. The food was good and a little something for everyone. If you're a vegan or vegetarian you might want to eat before you go. They do have an omelette bar, salads, macaroni and cheese, grits, potatoes, bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, waffles with toppings, fruit salad, fresh cut tri-tip, jambalaya, biscuits, bread pudding bites with whiskey sauce, muffins and pastries. They have unlimited cranberry and orange juices. They have a full bar and drinks are normal pricing. There's also an elevator for those who can't go down the stairs to the venue. Seating is tight so if you can sit at the ends or hopefully get a table that's not full. The show is an hour and then the artists will sign CDs and take pics.
Overall the food and show were good and I'd go back again. It's worth checking out.
