I was on a business trip in San Diego. To my surprise, it rained in early March. I decided to have dinner inside the hotel (Embassy Suite). It’s also the happy hour time (5:30-6:30PM). I got a complementary rum and coke. I ordered the cod and French bean entree and tomato soup. The food is average. The price is higher than the nearby restaurant, but I guess it has the convenience premium.
The food is absolutely amazing. There’s no bad options and the chef is very friendly and attentive. I can’t say anything about the bar because I’m underage but the food is very delicious.
Room was nice, bed was nice. But why is parking not included and $40 a night extra. Parking structure also doesn’t have enough space for cars to go in and out at the same time. They give coupons for free drinks but the liquor is so poor of quality that you will get a nasty headache.
