This is the first time I have been to Ju-chi. We had mixed tempura. It was crunchy and hot. Really good! We also had two rolls. They were fine. I did not think they were very flavorful. The service was great. We had a reservation and had a hard time finding parking. I called them and they said no problem that they would hold our reserved spot while we found parking. Our food came out quickly and the waitress checked in with us often.

We had a delicious dinner, our sushi chef Todd did an amazing job. Some of the best Sushi we have had. The service was top notch. If in town again we would definitely dine here again.

Food is excellent here. It's a feast for your eyes as well as your stomach. The yellowtail Crudo is one of my favorites. Chef Nghi and his staff are top tier. One of the best sushi restaurants in San Diego. You won't be disappointed.

When I want sushi, I want Ju-ichi. Been here twice and haven't been disappointed. Usually I'll make a reservation online so I don't have to wait. We sit at the bar so we can see the chefs make the rolls. Man o man, it's a show to see. Rolls are just the right size: interesting, flavorful, and compact enough to fit into your mouth in one bite. Sashimi is very fresh and melts in your mouth. Reasonable prices too. Quaint ambiance with a clean bathroom. I already miss Ju-ichi.

Great little sushi place and I'm really a cut roll only kinda girl. They crisp up the nori with a torch right before they serve it giving it the most wonderful crunch. My husband and son try just about everything they have and love it all. The service is great with a friendly staff
