This is undoubtably one of the best restaurants in San Diego. Down to earth, and all about the food. Anthony Bourdain would probably have eaten here.
My favorite sushi in San Diego.
Love this place. No nonsense, excellent sushi & Japanese food. Friendly staff. The Chicken Karaage is awesome as a starter.
The portion size is great, but the ingredients aren't the best quality. Good for the money though. Staff are friendly but not very quick nor checked on me during my meal. The reautruant itself is quite dated and old.
The food was delicious ! The atmosphere was ok, it's just a small place and gets packed at dinner time. The server was nice, but took the order of a family that came in after mine first. I didn't like that at all ! But overall, it's a good place for sushi. 🍣 -
Really good food! I love the sushi and teriyaki
Our first time trying this place out, we both went for dinner and got their bento boxes. They give you a lot of food, we ended up taking half home. The katsu chicken and teriyaki salmon were both perfect and the tempura is also very good. They give you large glasses of ice water as well so you wont need to ask for a refill.
The service is always amazing. We are welcomed in everytime.
The sushi is amazing everything we have ordered has always been great.
They have goos lunch specials as well.

Great Japanese restaurant. This hole-in-the-wall restaurant serves delicious Japanese food. They offer primarily sushi dishes, but served cooked dishes as well. Equally appealing are their reasonable prices. Nice place to get your sushi fix.
Hours posted on Google Maps is wrong. They are closed Sundays and and are closed 2:30 or 3 to 5 every day. Food is just OK. Tempura is overly thick. Sushi rolls are a bit dull, lots of imitation crab(whitefish). Service is very friendly.
What's not to love? Small business with great sushi that doesn't break the bank. Family comes here as much as we can!
Love the beef bowl large enough to share x2. MiSO soup n Ponsu sauce is BEST!!
We’ve been coming to this restaurant when we moved and here 3 years ago. Now our child is 10 and having her own sushi play dates! As the order was taken all under one name, the owner took the time to separate and change her and the 2 other friend's separately and correctly. Thank you for taking the time - the service is appreciated!!!!
