Stopped in on memorial day '25 to reminisce. Spent a lot of time here when I was stationed at 32nd street. The bartender was able to find my ship's hat even though it was decommissioned in '94!! Cheers to all my shipmates from the USS Gridley CG-21!!

Wow! What an experience! I didn't even know coming to this establishment that parts of Top Gun was filmed here. All the memorabilia, right down to the piano was quite amazing. Our bartender, Mike, even told us an entertaining story about the filming. Bar was packed and he never missed a beat! Thanks for such a wonderful memory! And the food! Eat it, it's good! Ribs. Mac. Corn. All of it!

What a FUN night we had here!! Parts of Top Gun were filmed here (Take me to be for lose me forever) and our bartender, Mike, was Top Notch! He even told us a top gun story. The bar was packed, and he never lost his cool. He handled everything effortlessly and efficiently with style and flare. The food was incredible. The ribs were out of this world, and please don’t leave without trying the corn ribs!

The food and service was excellent, but the bathroom hasn't been cleaned since 1983 when the movie was filmed there, and the piano in the movie has not been maintained at all. It's not even not in tune; it's decrepit and cannot even reasonably be played.

Our server, Courtney, was really unpleasant. Not very happy and must not like being a server. We did not want to hang around any longer than we had to. And I ordered the chicken, pork ribs and pulled pork but only got the chicken and pulled pork. Won’t consider coming back when I’m in the area again. Would not recommend

The BBQ was bland, dry, and the worst I’ve probably ever had. The fries and rings were pretty flavorless, too, but the great balls of fire packed flavor on the outside (buffalo sauce), but the Mac n cheese inside was like chewing playdoh.

TL,DR; Come here for drinks and atmosphere, not food
The food is medicore. The Mac and Cheese had little to no flavour, the barbeque beans were alright and the pulled pork which I had is also alright, but wasn’t very tender and was dry.
I would recommend coming here for some drinks and for the Top Gun memorabilia

It’s a cool ol’ place. Looking at pictures it was the farthest thing out in 1986 when top gun was filmed. Beer and wine only. Very good brisket and chicken basket and Coronado Brewing Orange Wit on tap. Don’t miss it!
