Everything is so delicious. Way better coffee than the Starbucks across the street! The hack is to go on a weekday morning and get a coffee to go, like you would any other coffee shop. No lines, no waits. But also go on a weekend for brunch too ;)

Kensington Cafe feels less like a restaurant and more like a living piece of Kensington itself. The vibes are relaxed and genuine, the servers are warm and familiar, and there’s a real sense of community you can’t manufacture. Locals drift in and out, conversations overlap, people and puppy watching never gets old. It’s one of those rare spots where you don’t just visit, you participate. If you want to understand Kensington, spend some time here.

The coffee is good and the ambient is excellent. It opens a bit later at 7:30 am while the Starbucks across the way opens at 5 am. No complaint although open hours can be earlier?
