I've been coming here since I was a student at UCSD, and the quality of food has not wavered in that time (10 years). Perhaps not the most authentic place for sushi in town, but incredibly delicious. great food, good portions, wonderful staff and quick to prep and serve the food. a great plus is that the presentation is superb! don't know if it's the authentic Japanese flavor, but I honestly don't care, its pretty good and that's enough for me !
Cool concept. I was brought here for a light lunch with my co-workers and boss during our conference in CA. You get to select a number of different sushi rolls, then you are seated at a bar where you watch the sushi chef prepare it. They serve one full roll which is cut into bite sizes.
