Today we had a horrible experience at Kikos. Ordered "Taco Tuesday " fish taco deal, plain quesadilla and a Octopus ceviche add fish. It was all ordered to go. Got our food headed to the car and we realized they did not give us the Ceviche. So wifey heads back and the cook says "I apologize I forgot to put it in the bag" No problem mistakes happen. Kiko's Place is the best place in San Diego for tacos, with some of the best fish tacos people have ever had. The tacos are great, amazingly delicious, and very affordable. Guests enjoy the original fish taco, the shrimp taco, and the OG tacos. The birria and ceviche trio are also delicious, and the shrimp cocktail is yum. There is a nice selection of Mexican beers. The salsas are fantastic, and the little salsa bar has a light red sauce that is perfect with the tacos. Service is great, and they give a free mini soup or a cup of seafood soup on the house, which is rich and flavorful. It is mostly seafood but has a few vegetarian options.
