Lovely little bar lounge hidden near Middletown trolley stop. Great drinks. Awesome DJ’s.

Went in on a Friday night with a couple friends and the place had a really chill vibe. The music wasn’t too loud so we could actually talk, which I appreciated. I tried one of their house cocktails (can’t remember the exact name lol) but it was pretty good, not overly sweet like some bars do. Bartender seemed cool and didn’t rush anyone even though it got a bit busy later on. Prices were kinda what you’d expect for a cocktail bar, maybe a little high but nothing crazy. Overall it felt like a nice spot to hang out for a while and just relax with a drink.

Came in from Sacramento for the whole Dream Come True weekend here and it was incredible! Small room, amazing sound system, and a packed dance floor. It feels like a proper underground sound room which is something San Diego really needed. If you love house and electronic music this place is a gem.

What a crazy disappointment. If you like claustrophobic basement vibes this could be the bar for you. It matches the vibe of where it’s located. Sketchy and in the middle of nowhere. Even our Uber driver was concerned where we were going. It’s the size of a 2-car garage if not smaller. No where to sit. We waited 20+ min to get in, $10 cover, inside was packed like sardines with NO LIGHTING!! Red light by the dj but that’s about it. No ambiance. No decor. Just dark and basement-like. Concrete is the aesthetic. Couldn’t even squeeze past people to get to the bar so we didn’t even bother trying. Music was UNBEARABLY loud and this is coming from someone who works in nightlife!!! Probably because of how small and concrete the room is! My ear drums and head were in pain within 10 min. The music was also terrible that night. No one was dancing. Or moving. Just sardines. Left within 20 min. Waste of money and time.

I attended to see a very well world wide known DJ in the music scene, Cinthie, on a Thursday. I could tell that it's a cool little venue for small acts and up'n'coming artists/dj's. Also, I can see this place having a chill vibe to lounge and socialize. However, with a Big artists it got overwhelming crowded and the wait time for the $10 cover was long but expected.
The Bartenders and bar backs are great and do an awesome job! The drinks were on point with the many special cocktails and selections.
I would definitely return to this bar on a non-major night! Check it out for yourself!

Went for martini Monday, can't beat $8 shaken martinis with a DJ spinning on vinyl. Lounge vibes, great music and atmosphere. Can't wait to be back!

Kiku Room was everything I hoped it would be! I recommend getting here early for the best experience. As you walk in the atmosphere grabs you. DJs perfectly curate the music to set elite vibes that build throughout the evening, and pared with their sound system... *chefs kiss*. Drinks are well crafted and priced fair. Treat yourself, and give this place a spin!

What a great new music bar in San Diego, cocktails are so tasty, best sound system in SD by far, small cover for world class vinyl DJ’s is well worth it, owners are great, love the vibe there. 10 stars

This is one of my new favorite spots!
Cool vibe, mature crowd, reasonably priced cocktails, and great tunes!
You can tell they put their heart into making this spot unique!
We’ve been needing a music-focused hangout place and this is it!
I especially love martini Mondays!

Great cocktails but some of the patrons have made this place an undesirable atmosphere.
I would not recommend this place to anyone due to the rude patrons & unbearably loud music. What a shame!
