Fun atmosphere. Cute decor.. Attentive wait staff. A little bummed they didn't offer green curry. Decent size portions. Value in prices. The tables and benches were a little funky with mismatched cushions. We almost tipped bench when reaching over table but had a good laugh over it. definitely worth a try. I would say it was a 4.5. everything was good but not a solid 5.

I was visiting friends in California this past week but am writing this during my layover. I went with a friend and her family for my last dinner of my trip and Koon Thai’s food certainly didn’t disappoint.

We had a variety of dishes to share amongst the four of us but of the ones we ordered I absolutely loved the crab fried rice and pad see ew. The host and wait staff were very friendly and on top of things with us as well as the other tables they were assisting. They would check in frequently to efficiently handle any needs we had during the meal.

Another strong suit was that the decor inside the restaurant was gorgeous and I couldn’t help looking around while I ate (and even taking pictures). It felt very elegant while still feeling warm and welcoming. I will definitely be back the next time I visit California.

Fantastic food and the portions are a good value for the money. Not your standard Thai restaurant. You can get great meals not found in the basic Thai place.

The service is very very slow. You can consider it no service at all. We didn't have waters, utensils.
The staff is very rude. Especially that heavy-weighted waitress is especially rude. She explained to us that do you see the other side of the restaurant which is full of people eating? What? She blamed their slow service because of the other side of people eating in their restaurant?

Rude staff even took our food away before we could start.

Booths are a little tight so grab a table. Had my favorite tom ka tried a very delicious mango sticky rice.

I really enjoyed the food and space! The service was excellent and the brought the food out fast. We got egg rolls and pad Thai and pad see ew as well as mango sticky rice which I’ve been craving. Shout out to our server Mhee!

They don't respect vegan and vegetarian options. Ordered pad Thai first time and smelt like burnt fish, prob they cooked in the same pot, So cancelled and ordered veg fried rice and that was awful as it smelt the worst .
Had to pay for stuff I did not eat. Vegan, vegetarian ppl be aware. I would never go again

Gigi was wonderful as a server. I can’t wait to come back!
