Walked in and we're the only customer, the dishes was OK but the rice they gave us was already spoiled. I told our server and she did replace it but we already had some of the rice, the server then came back and told us that the rice wasn't spoiled sine they cooked it in the morning which is a lie because it was, the texture was mushy the smell was horrid .I cannot recommend this restaurant!!!

I've dined at this location before it was Kusina San Diego and happy to return to try the AYCE Sunday Brunch Buffet. It was affordable and great selections. It's from 9 am to 3 pm. Adults $26.99 and Children 10 and under $13.99.

This is definately a meeting spot as I saw friends I haven't seen in a long time dining here too.

NOTE:
Be aware of where you park. DO NOT park in front of O'Riellys painted curb as they are towing vehicles.

The buffet had ube pancakes which tasted good and I don't like Ube. Also, my favorites were: Tocino, Tapa and Longanesia. There's the regular items such as Kare Kare, Sunnyside Eggs, Garlic Rice and Rice. I tried the Jeprox and champarado and I was not a fan. It's just me as I did not grow up with these dishes so I didn't have a taste for it.

I really enjoyed the Sisig topped with raw egg on top. We mixed it up and yummy. The best Sisig I have ever had. My friends enjoyed it very much too. Lastly, for dessert, we ordered the halo halo with ube ice cream. It was so refreshing. The ice was shaved perfectly to my liking. I don't like fine ice. Overall, great spot to gather with family and friends. It's a pretty good size restaurant too. We were a party of 12 and I would highly recommend making reservations.

Thanks Tress and Staff for making my dining experience a memorable one.

Came here once before, food is ok . Call and verify before you go so you don’t waste your time driving . ,. They have events here sometimes , I called Sunday to check their seating hours and availability. Drove and was told they have event and can only seat me and my friend for 30mins.
Such a waste of time , specially since I called before I drove to come and eat here. They should be more upfront when they can’t accommodate non-event guests.

Cavity !!

Me and my family went here for Father’s Day. We went for the buffet, the meat was really bland and hard to bite into, everything they had was something we could’ve easily cooked at home. This was NOT worth 42 dollars per person. Yes, 42 dollars PER PERSON.The “pandesal” was just store bought Hawaiian bread… The crepes were the only thing that were okay, the staff was good very kind and it was a good atmosphere. The place overall is okay, the pricing for such simple cheap food is an absolute rip-off. You can’t order from the seafood menu if you do the buffet, sushi is a separate price, additional to the 42 dollars per person. If you go here, order from their regular menu, it’ll save you money and result in a more satisfactory experience.

Waitress wasn’t attentive with filling up water. Loco Moco is bland. Halo Halo was $11 and was missing ingredients like leche flan. The lumpia were thin and small similar to ones you would buy frozen at Seafood City… The KFC kusina dish was good.

My family along with my wife’s friends went on Sunday for brunch buffet. We drove 2 hours to experience the Sunday brunch. We did not have a reservation but were sat quickly. For $25 dollars, the buffet was super delicious and we got our fillings. Thank you for the great experience and great food. We will be back

Kusina had two events today. One was a funeral that filled the restaurant and then our event a small private function. I am impressed by how smooth Tress the owner and manager this place. It is a tight ship. There was no skip in service, the food arrived on time and all delicious. Mad props to you and your team!
