Overall, this La Mesa location it’s not too bad. It’s pretty good. The barbecue beef again. This is a college area and yet this one in La Mesa beats the one located in La Jolla so something‘s going on over in the expensive area where they’re cheating the value or the quality where you have El Cajon and now here in La Mesa much better quality service is pretty good in the atmosphere. It’s it’s giving me that Hawaiian vibe a little bit so watch out expensive living areas...

The employees hated that we walked in 15 minutes until closing. Did not give us any cutlery, napkins or the teriyaki sauce. They were all giving us the dirty look the whole time we were there. The meat was a little bit burned and salty, but still good. I understand the employees but c'mon, folks, you couldn't throw in the sauce?

All L&L Hawaiian barbecue are great!! But this one the service is more than excellent, I want to mention the employee Karla with K” she always have great customer service and wonderful attitude, very happy, she make feel customers very welcome, 10 start for her and for the restaurant. Highly recommend.
