I have ordered twice off of door dash and both times they canceled my food 20 minutes after I already order even though it said it was open until 8 this is ridiculous they are trash can't meet expectations of door dash then remove yourself off of door dash.

Was a pretty good spot for creative tacos while it lasted.

Went by twice tonight between 6 and 8 pm and it was closed and looked shut down. Supposed to be open to 8 or 10 (their own website says 2 different closing times). Not sure what's going on here. I'm assuming out of business since no signs or info on their doors/windows or website

I jump through hoops to place an order for pickup just for you to cancel my order and waste my time. Why do you offer this option through yelp/grubhub if you can't fulfill it? Will never eat here and will tell everyone I know not to eat here.

Ever since I moved to San Diego I've been in search of my go to taco spot. The search for the elusive perfect taco had eluded me until I found La Catrina. They're rib-eye tacos and the salsa that comes along with it were worth the journey.

I went with a friend on a Sunday afternoon and it was so dead I thought it was closed. That being said, the food and drinks were excellent. This is not a taco shop and you won't be paying taco shop prices. This is lovely, fresh, elevated Baja California-style cuisine. The shop is very cute. The help was so laid back I occasionally worried that they'd forgot we were there. But there was absolutely no pressure. The mango ceviche I ate was awesome. The margarita was delicious as well. They have an extensive wine list of Baja California wines. If you know what you're in for, and have come for that experience this place is great. What it's not is your average Mexican joint. I'd go back.

Unassuming location with great food. I've gone three times and I was impressed each time. North Parkers, give hipster comfort food a break and check out this unique restaurant.

I don't know why it took me so long to get here but it's pretty delicious. We split the Corazon sopes (ribeye and grilled shrimp) and the North Park ceviche. The ceviche was really good. Nice big chunks of white meat and all the refreshing veggies typically on ceviche. The sopes were tremendous though. A bit difficult to eat like any other sopes but definitely worth the effort. Will definitely be back to try more things!!!

Their food was *excellent.* They also have a good selection of Mexican beer, which was refreshing in an area over saturated with craft breweries. If I have one recommendation it's to use a different tequila for the margarita.

Try the carnitas and octopus. Food is actually really good. It's just a little on the pricey side.

Amazing tacos! I really feel like I get a lot of bang for my buck here

The food was top notch. I had the carnitas and octopus tacos and the El Diablo ceviches. The Diablo had a good flavor, but wasn't as spicy as I was hoping or anywhere near as spicy as the sauces that came with the tacos. The beer selection is only traditional bottled Mexican beers and could use some variety. Ambiance is casual sit down, but somehow doesn't seem like it fits very well with the typical north park crowd.

I wanted to love this place, I really did. I've been there three times now. The first was impressive, and I thought I had been sleeping on this new place. Second and third (ordered the same thing - carnitas & octopus plate, plus a NY taco they had for the happy hour menu), and came to the conclusion it's too hit or miss to risk having a bad experience. The food is yummy, but depending on whoever is working you might get your food in 10 mins, or a full on 45 minutes, you never know. The drinks are also made by the servers, so there's no consistency there. The only perks of this place is that it's never full and there's never a wait to get in (that should clue you in to what to expect), and it's easy to find parking. The other restaurants that have been at this location have also been a miss, so I'm not sure why the bad juju lingers. I will say that the food is good though, if it makes it out to your table!
