Our expectations were high but boy, did this place exceed them! My husband and I ordered 5 different tacos as well as the asada nachos, and everything was absolutely amazing! The ingredients were incredibly flavorful and fresh. The place was very welcoming and the service quick and friendly. Couldn't have asked for a hetter dining experience!

Amazing tacos! Got the al pastor (pictured), pescado, carne asada (pictured), and pollo asado (for the kids). We also got the chips and guac (very creamy!) and horchata (tasty!). The tacos were the real stand out. Great seasoning and spice level on everything. I will be dreaming about these tacos after returning home to Seattle, where we have limited Mexican food options.

The food was amazing! Almost the staff was very nice. Portions were great and we went by recommendations from the hostess and she was spot on. The guacamole was the freshest we've had.

I’ve been here a few times and it wasn’t until my third time that I ordered the Bisteces Rancheros and my tastebuds went wild.

Seriously. Order this dish. Of all restaurants I’ve ate at in San Diego, this dish has to be amongst my favorites. The flavor is insane, so much that the other person(s) with you will more than likely eat some because they’ll like it that much too.

I’ve ordered tacos from here, but honestly push yourself to their specialties. I think it’s where they truly shine. I even ordered the fried shrimp main dish and it’s seasoned really well and flavorful, but that’s a dish where I’d want to share it with someone whereas the bisteces rancheros is one you’ll want for yourself. The leftovers hit just as good too.

And definitely get their creamy jalapeño salsa. Best salsa I’ve had at any restaurant in the city.
