I came on a quieter Monday afternoon and had a blackened fish taco and taco al pastor. I enjoyed n both with lots of flavor. Service was great and casual atmosphere Two tacos and a Coke plus tip was 20 dollars

Don’t even come here for the México game. 10 customers inside and the service is horrible. Food is terrible and the drinks took longer for the food to come out .

Best Pozole in San Diego!! Truly delicious and authentic.
Mexico city micheladas are the real deal too!

This place doesn't get enough recognition. I was born and raised in Mexico City. This place is the only one in San Diego so far where I can say the food is authentic and reminds me of home.
The staff is always friendly, the micheladas are great (Mexico City style) and the environment and decor lovely.

Highly recommended!!!

I barely ever left a one star review until I want to protect the community from getting taking advantage of like I did. I order 6 tacos and they were the worst I ever had they tasted like McDonald kitchen dry and big. I had 3 and couldn’t finish the rest after this experience the worst part was the bill almost $85 for 6 tacos that’s insane. Don’t come here you will reject it like i did.

Went for drinks and the margaritas were very good and generously sized

This is hands down some of the worst Mexican food I’ve had in my life (and I’ve eaten Mexican food in Jackson Mississippi where they call their breakfast burritos ‘morning wraps’). It’s a shame because the crew is really lovely and welcoming as others have said.

I’m really glad that there are folks who enjoy it, and want this restaurant to succeed! But if you’re used to ‘real San Diego Mexican food’ you will be sorely disappointed here.

Love to go eat and drink there especially when there's live music. Service is great, fast, and they make you feel at home.

Best Mexican restaurant in Hillcrest with a great salsa bar. Delicious and generously portioned tacos. Aguachile is bomb. Friendly staff

Showed up at a time where only one server was available and he was really doing his best to get to all his parties/ tables, of which he had about 6 when we first got there. He was super friendly and constantly cleaning. Food was top-notch, though!

Food was really good but the price was A LOT higher than anticipated. The seafood tacos were basically $10 a pop which is super high for my standards. I only got 2 and it came out to be $20 which is ridiculous to me.

That being said they were delicious but the value was not there.

We had the ceviche and pozole from the secret weekend menu. Everything is homemade, and it’s so fresh and delicious. I’ve been away from San Diego for 20 years and had a bunch of places from my past I wanted to try. I’ll be adding this new spot to the list when I come home next time. Yum yum yum.
