Lady M Cake Boutique - San Diego

Do not have good service. It is hard to order from the phone or from the website. I have trying to order both ways since Friday Aug 14 until Sunday Aug 17 2025. No answrs, all sold out and qhen I came to the stote on the 17th, it's closed, no notice, sign, or what so ever on the wedite, phone, oe store door.
A really unfrienfly, unprofessional customer service.

I know they have a great in-store product, but I highly suggest that you go elsewhere if you are looking to do a custom order! I was just reviewing my communication with corporate and took 49 emails and numerous Long phone calls to get an invoice and pay for a wedding cake I was often receiving invoices for weddings that did not pertain to me. There was only one person that handles special events and she was very hard to get a hold of. It would take weeks to get a response several days before my pick up today, I received an email notifying me that The order was not going to be fulfilled because they didn’t have the flavor anymore. No worries, I replied back immediately and tried to get alternatives. It took numerous phone calls to get to that point.
Because the communication and service was so poor, I asked for a final copy of the order. I didn’t get it until the very, very end. When I went to pick up my order today, I called in to corporate knowing that the location does not have a specific phone number. They were unable to tell me where the store is located and where to park (located in a large mall). I picked up two large cakes, and two small cakes and the simple person that we’re working in the store was extremely gracious and helpful. What should’ve taken under 20 minutes, took about an hour.

There is definitely one bright shining star in this equation and that is Priscilla, customer service. I definitely came in hot, but she was working with me and extremely gracious, professional, and helpful. Priscilla, If you read this, I am sincerely thankful for your help today.

If you are able to purchase special cake elsewhere for a future event, I highly recommend it. However, if you’re popping in for a quick bite, this could be an option for you

We ordered cake and three coffees. The barista told us our coffees would take longer since their machine was broken. We said that’s fine. The coffee tasted so bad and burnt. They should not accept coffee orders when their machines are broken. When leaving, I told her that our coffees tasted burnt and we couldn’t drink them and she said ok. Not even bothered apologizing or saying something like I’ll tell the store manager. We used to go to Lady M in other cities but never again in UTC.

Got the pandan and guava flavors! They were soOoo light and refreshing…. Just the right amount of sweetness

I ate the cake at home, so I didn’t see the boutique and the service, but the CAKE IS DEFINITELY GOOOOD! DELICIOUS. AMAZING. Yes I saw the price and they are expensive but very very good quality. Is not heavy. So enjoy

Located in Westfield UTC mall - a few tables inside and a couple outside. Store is very clean and modern, service at the counter is well enough.,

I tried the green tea (just average) and checker cake (below average) - in moisture, taste and texture. Maybe these aren’t just my style but I was underwhelmed after all the hype.

A lot of other people seemed to be enjoying these though so they could be for you!

Where did the people working in there go during opening hours? Its been over an hour since the staff is gone leaving a return at 4:30 badge, and now it is 5:30 already.

Lady M is well known for their exquisite Mille Crepe cakes. This is my first time trying them, but I was a little disappointed. There were a few flavors and we tried pistachio, vodka, strawberry matcha, and green tea ones. Each flavor was great. I would recommend matcha and vodka. Their signature cakes tasted definitely great and distinct from regular ones, but the price could be cheaper. Besides, we had to pay for the takeout box.
