Am visiting from New Jersey and I stopped by to get Nija food not too bad but the poundo yam wrap is too small compared to any Nija restaurants they needs to adjust that.

Food at this place is authentically Nigerian. The jollof rice was great and the goat meat very flavorful. The pepper soup is only for the brave, it's fiery and is guaranteed to cure a cold- at least that's my theory. Also, great energy from the owners. You can tell that they'll do great things with the place.

Stumbled upon this gem of a place while visiting San Diego and so happy that we gave this place a shot!Truly authentic West African (Nigerian) cuisine and grocery store! We tried their meat pies, stew with goat meat, goat pepper soup, jollof rice with goat meat and of course fried plantains.Everything was freshly made and tasted amazing!!The owners (I think they are 3 partners) are extremely friendly and knowledgeable about their cuisine. Highly recommend this place and will definitely visit whenever I am in San Diego area.

Lagos Kitchen no longer exists. This establishment is under new ownership and is now Abúlé. Go check out Abúlé for read for real!

First of all, It's way too expensive for what it is. Get this, a carton of indomie cost $30 ish, something you can buy on Amazon and have delivered to you for $17 anyway that's besides the point. I ordered two plates of afang soup with pounded yam because I was craving Nigerian food, and it cost me $38 just to get home and find out there wasn't even meat in it, just little pieces of dry fish scattered in it (not even fresh fish smh). Why would I want to order a plate of soup if there isn't any meat or actual fish in it? I ended up buying 3 other little items and I was charged almost $100 in total. Scam

COVID-19 REVIEW: There aren't much reviews for this restaurant, but to be fair, they just opened. Been waiting to try fufu since jt started trending on Tiktok, and this is the only place on Yelp that confirmed to have it. Don't be deceived by the exterior look, there is a kitchen behind the market area.Their customer service was great! They had someone come up to us while we were looking at the menu. We've never ordered African food before, so they were able to answer any questions we had. The wait time was a bit long, but they gave us free water which we did not expect. When they opened the food, you could smell all the spices. The food was hot even after driving all the way home. They presented it nicely as well and it was so delicious. Fufu might not be for everyone, so it depends on your taste (my siblings did not favor it), but I would definitely recommend this place if you want to try it. I would come here again!

Scam artist of a "restaurant". Ordered online to see that they're currently renovating and my order didn't go through. Their kitchen was exposed while dust and debris was through the air. Supposedly this renovation is due to new management but what management would allow this? Exposed kitchens? Serving food while renovating? Greeting customers and serving them without masks.

Just placed and order to pickup and was CHARGED. Drove to the spot and it's closed lights off with bars over the windows. No one is answering the phone.
