The customer service was pretty good. The risotto came smothered on a flat plate which I didn't find appetizing. I might recommend presenting in a pasta or risotto bowl and did not taste any wine in the risotto as traditionally prepared. I feel like they just used broth. The bolognese was good. The spaghetti and meat balls came with hardly any sauce and was underwhelmed by the meatballs balls. Would recommend simmering meatballs with sauce before serving with a healthy amount of sauce on the top of the mixed pasta. Not a terrible experience and would not critique without offering a better solution in my humble opinion. Thank you

We enjoyed our time at Scuderie. The service all around was great. We had Gamberi alla diavola for an appetizer it was amazing! I had the lasagne and it was so yummy. My husband unfortunately had a different meal and it was very bland. It was called Fusilli Norma and it had hardly any sauce and had a strange flavor he didn't like. It was too bad, because everything else was delicious. The ambience was so nice except for the decorative lighting was out on half the restaurant, so all along our spot there were no twinkle lights. It just would have added a nice cozy romantic feel. Overall I would recommend the restaurant, its not too pricey, and has some really good food.

The wait staff was phenomenal. The review is 100% not on them. The food... eh. Lack luster at best. Could have probably made better spaghetti myself. And for that, we won't be back. Shame!

From the moment we arrived, we were treated with kindness. The service was impeccable and the food even better. I highly recommend the Puccia Bread (the whipped eggplant accompaniment was so delicious!). Our party included a disabled person and a baby. Everyone left happy and full!

The one thing that made the experience less enjoyable was that the dining room in the evening was cold. We had to sit with our coats on through dinner, as did many of the other guests. I would recommend for them to either close the doors to the outside, or turn up the heat. I would not go back there in winter.

We have lived in North Pacific Beach now for about 4 years and we've always driven by and said that we should try it sometime. As a PB local we've always gone to another Italian restaurant closer to our house, however, last night we decided to give it a try! Boy are we glad we did! Every item that we ordered was fantastic! I think we found our new spot!

This place was amazing. Celebrating a bachelorette party and was searching for a nice restaurant for djnner. Made the reservation and couldn't have been happier. The food was delicious. The service was incredible. Value was great. Ambiance was beautiful. Highly recommend.

The food was wonderful, we where a larger group and the accommodated everyone. They check up on us which we liked, cleared plates constantly which help out a lot the calamari was delicious and so is the burrata capresse for appetizers. Mains everyone got different things but nothing was left, was excellent.
The authentic Italian food is always outstanding, and the service matches the quality of the food! It has become a regular stop on our dining out circuit. Back in the day, this building was a drive-through dry cleaner, and it has graduated to becoming an outstanding Italian restaurant with great food and ambiance. The floor to ceiling glass windows open completely to create an indoor/outdoor dining spot in addition to their patio seating.

We were a large party of 6+ who went on a Monday night, unfortunately it was a bad night for this restaurant. The appetizers came quickly but the entrees took about 30-45 minutes and the pizza (4 people in our party ordered pizza, including two kids) took almost two hours to come. The rest of the party was already done with their food for a while before the pizza came. We realize their pizza oven was probably backed up (we saw a lot of to-go pizza orders coming in and out) but the waiter should have offered more appetizers on the house due to waiting so long. They did end up giving us two free desserts but that was at the end, and they ended up comping the largest pizza but I really feel that they should have comped all the pizzas, two hours is crazy long. I know it wasn't due to the size of our party either because another smaller party came over and told us they also had to wait two hours for their pizza and they were also very upset. Also our pasta dishes weren't anything to write home about. I got the clams and spaghetti and it was kind of dry, the butter sauce just sank to the bottom and wasn't that flavorful, the clams were tiny and the portion was small for a $27 entree in my opinion. The only person with a decent dish was my sister who ordered the chicken piccata. We won't ever be visiting this restaurant again, it ended up being a total waste of almost $350.

First off, the absolute best gluten free pizza we have ever had. They clearly were using caputo's glutfiore flour but however they made it, it was perfecto. Second, the crumbled fennel Italian sausage was {chef's kiss} and reminded me of this amazing fennel sausage pizza I had at Mandalay Bay in Vegas several years ago. Third, my 9 year old ate leftovers for not only breakfast but late dinner after the safari park. This is a sign of a good restaurant! The food overall was really really good and we are happy we found this gem while on vacation. Only two critiques are the pasta sauce and meatballs could have used a tad bit of salt, and the pastas could have had a bit more sauce. By the time the plates came to the table, the sauce had tightened up around the pasta. If I'm back in Pacific Beach, definitely coming back here!
