We visited Mister Sushi for our anniversary last month and I am still fantasizing about the salmon sashimi we had. Everything else was excellent too- but wow. I haven't had salmon that good in a long time, if ever. It's very much a "hole in the wall" energy. I've walked by dozens of times and never paid much attention to it. It was my kids' first trip to see the ocean, so we went to Mission Beach. They also wanted to try fresh sushi, so we randomly picked Mister Sushi. I got a couple of California rolls because I knew they'd eat those, and a rainbow roll because I knew I'd eat that. Turns out, they all loved the rainbow roll even more than the California rolls! Service was fast and our server was so welcoming. Best sushi I've had. If we ever get back to the area, we'd definitely be repeat customers.

We would come here every week if we could! The #17 roll is the best sushi roll I’ve ever had. The sushi chefs are awesome and have learned our go to orders and what we might like trying. All around our favorite place to get sushi!
