Good coffee. Good Acai bowls. Great service. Staff can get overwhelmed sometimes on busy weekends but always a chill spot for coffee, a few blocks away from the gaslamp crowded areas.
I’m going to give them a little slack because it was comic con weekend and they seemed overwhelmed, but… I ordered the oatmeal and there was hardly any oatmeal at all. I had to pull out half the fruit to get the thing I actually ordered. And then the oatmeal was fairly dry. When I moved the bananas on top around… I discovered even less oatmeal.
This ended up being my go to coffee place during my visit. The iced hammerhead was perfect for me to add my protein shake to. This was one of the only coffee shops that opened early early in the morning as well. The atmosphere was very chill and relaxing.
