Lazy Eye is more than my favorite coffee spot, it’s a cherished part of my day, a place where quality and care are in every detail. Tucked away as a kiosk, it's the quality that pulls you in—the staff here are genuinely friendly, making everyone who visits feel welcomed. The pastries hit the spot every time and something for everyone (gluten free donuts!), and the homemade syrups offer something uniquely flavorful that you just can't find elsewhere. You’ll have to look at the menu or better yet go experience it to know what I mean. You can also bring your pup, the sweet owner makes sure they have treats too! It's the kind of place where the coffee is consistently good, and the service comes with a genuine smile. Great coffee, the best people, Lazy Eye nails it every time

Truly a hole in the wall ( coffee cart jammed into alley next to realtor). Great Chai and cappuccino, unique smoothies, delicious muffins and scones. Really friendly, competent staff. 3 days in MB, 3 trips to the Lazy Eye.

Outstanding and fun little coffee nook. Medium roast coffee was top notch. Definitely recommend.

Nice little place, it was perfect for a quick coffee and cake. The owner recommended banana bread and it was so good.

Easy place to walk to -amazingly friendly staff and velvety coffee! Truly impressed by the friendliness of the staff. They routinely have a lil line but they just seem to be patient and lovely.

I really love that song Lazy Eye by Silversun Pickups. In fact, I had a friend with a lazy eye back in the early days of yore when I was attending boarding school with other kids who were sent there. His situation didn't stop him at all from doing all the things he really loved to do. He was just one of the guys who enjoyed life. We would sometimes eat in the cafeteria together. I loved pizza night, and the kid with the lazy eye loved meatloaf night. Or maybe it was the other way around. I know that his parents asked that he didn't play baseball. They were pretty clear about that. He also had to blow into one of those devices when he wanted to start his car. We could never figure out if that was because of his lazy eye or because he had just gotten his second DUI right after summer vacation. Either way, we would always blow into the ignition device for him so he could drive home after a fun day tailgating for the prep school crew team. I don't remember him being a huge coffee drinker, but he loved iced tea with non-dairy creamer stirred in. His parents were reputable chefs, so we assumed he knew what he was doing. I once went home with him during Thanksgiving break. We had to take the bus because he wasn't allowed to drive anymore.Vegetarian options: If you add butter to your coffee, you are probably going to the gym twice a day.Kid-friendliness: That kid I knew was friendly, and he was dealing with so much. You have to applaud him for that.

Amazing and delicious coffee experience. Took my parents for a San Diego trip and needed a coffee fix and found this place by pure serendipity. I ended up going 3X in two days. Amazing flavored lattes. The second day I went (twice) I ended up meeting the owner (I think I see on here her name is Ashley) and we had a very pleasant conversation about the shop and her latte recipes. She's the real deal as is her coffee shop. I just left the area today to come back to West LA and I already miss Lazy eye coffee. I'll be sure to frequent it every time I'm in SD!

Great little shop with fantastic caring staff. They make a very tasty Vanilla Latte. Best of all, they create their own syrups so no artificial junk added.

A fun little beach spot! This is not a place you go to for the atmosphere... They're not indoors. There's nowhere to sit really, but if you need coffee and you're at the beach, this is a wonderful place! They even have some great food they can warm up!

Was greeted by friendly staff when I walked up. Really nice selection of coffee options and alternative milks. This is a walk up small beach business vibe. Customers appear to be a mix of locals and tourists. The barista in the back had my drink ready in less than 2 minutes which was helpful to keep the line moving. The daughter of the family after me was eyeing the bright pink sprinkle donut option. I had an almond croissant paired with a light agave cinnamon latte. The nuttiness of the pastry went well with the cinnamon and sweetness of the agave. Highly recommend stopping over if you are in the area. I only deducted a star for the amount of flies. I suppose having sugar and being so close to the beach, this is always the situation, but I was grateful to start my morning with a handcrafted beverage made by someone who was not me. ;)

Most tiny and best coffee place in Mission Beach. Slayer machine operated by amazingly friendly people that pull fruity great shots and don’t kill milk by oversteaming it.Oh yes, and it is a tiny place squeezed into the smallest gap between some other irrelevant (once you found the gap) things.

Such a cute little coffee stand. The service is great. Even when the line is longish, and there are only a few baristas, everyone remains nice, friendly and efficient.
