Went here recently because I used to go to the one on Adams Ave all the time, at all hours. When they closed (now reopened) I wasn't sure of their other locations, but this place is just as, if not more chill than their OG location was back in ~2010 Same great coffee, wonderful staff, much more space, and all the benefits of an indie coffee shop, without the snobby hipster vibes. So glad they're doing well, and now have more locations (and with better parking) then just Adams. Great place to get good coffee and good vibes!Parking: There directly across from a strip mall that has ample parking as well as a parking garage. Street parking is also available directly in front of the shop, some metered some not.

It's under construction, so it wasn't very cozy. Place seemed unkempt, dust on the fixtures and statues. Furniture was very dirty. Kind of a bummer, but they did have an upstairs area that was significantly cleaner. Probably won't go again unless just picking up coffee. My coffee was good ?

Ive been coming here for years to work, eat and enjoy coffee and I love it usually! HOWEVER, whoever the new Karen working here is with the short red hair is EXTREMELY rude. My partner and I came in here with empty cups from another shop down the street and had been here for hours with said empty cups when she literally decides to yell across the restaurant berating us for the empty cups. She was even swearing in the midst of this. I asked her to stop yelling and she just spoke even louder claiming it was an inside voice. I even walked here and PAID FOR FOOD FROM LESTATS with that empty cup in my hand. I get it no outside food or drinks, I just forgot to throw out the cup I had with me. Theres a way to ask something nicely and quietly without screaming it across an otherwise quiet restaurant. After I witnessed her be extremely rude to another customer who was trying to order but was asking about options and she rudely yelled at her too and said "THERES THE MENU". I really hope management sees this and either gives her a strike or fires here because that is unacceptable. Usually service here is great and the rest of the staff is friendly but this red haired Karen has GOT TO GO.

Got a chance to visit this coffee shop, got an overpriced tea for 6$:/. And it was a just a tea bag, that is why am telling it's overpriced. And baristas work place was dirty, pitchers were dirty too. Another espresso wasn't made good and fast enough. And selling a tea bag, it is little bit complicated.

I sometimes come here to work remotely because I like their coffee and hot drinks. My review is mainly about the service/atmosphere. I've noticed multiple times that customer service could be greatly improved. Baristas are a bit short with you and act like they cannot be bothered when you ask questions about the menu. They've done it to me, and I have observed them act the same way with others as well. This place also plays a lot of country music. It's just a personal preference, but it would be nice if they switched it up every once in awhile. It seems they are renovating as there is some construction going on currently so a portion of the cafe is blocked off. There is still plenty of seating available.I'll give the other locations a try to see if they have a different vibe.

It's the coffee shop you can find much in San Diego anymore. Long hours, enough seating for everyone looking to hang out and do work on a computer or read. And plenty of power all over for those computer people as well. The drinks are well priced and well made, with good muffins and other baked odds and ends. They have real food too, I just have no experience with that one.If you're looking for a place to go late at night, this is a great option.Wheelchair accessibility: Downstairs is a bit crowded for wheelchair navigation, aside from a couple tables, and the only bathroom I've ever been directed to by the staff is upstairs.

Great coffee shop - open late. However one of the baristas was quite rude towards customers within a few minutes of closing. Pretty embarrassing - taller individual, acting out of line when addressing existing customers who had routine questions. Not acceptable having to both witness, then experience it. As a business owner, you’d want to know this.

Food was solid, but my main complaint is how I was being treated. When I ordered food with the cashier, he rudely told me that they weren’t going to sell me food until their late coworker gets in. No apologies, no remorse, all entitlement.I come back 15 minutes later to order food and was treated with the same attitude. I asked to order a frittata and he vaguely points to the floor saying that I “have to choose one of the flavors.” How am I supposed to see the food that’s displayed a few inches above the ground? Confused, I asked him to clarify what the flavors are and where he is pointing and he gives the same response, with even less patience. Eventually I see the food and squat all the way down to see what my options are instead of having the cashier explain them to me. Needless to say, it’s not an attitude I would ever appreciate at any establishment.Very unprofessional experience. Come at your own discretion.
