Very down to earth and mellow. This is the best place in Hillcrest to relax and use the computer read drink coffee snack on their croissants yum. First came here for a MeetUp reminds me of Washington state Redmond area some of the cafes near
Love this place! The food isn’t fantastic, but it’s not bad. Service is pretty good as well. Where they excel is the atmosphere: the bottom floor is more restaurant vibes, lots of tables and space down there. Upstairs is my favorite, it’s all Egyptian themed and very spacious. There’s huge tables and outlets at almost every table. There’s also a little room upstairs that’s very quiet and cozy.

I'm giving this five stars solely because of their courage in carrying on the tradition of neighborhood owned coffee shops. Service was good but nothing out of the ordinary. I ordered a Cobb salad. It was slow coming and consisted of a bed of greens from a bag, quite a bit of which were going bad. One sliced egg. 4 or 5 small rolls of that sliced turkey meat from the plastic pack. About one quarter sliced avocado. A few cherry tomatoes. A sprinkle of chopped bacon and blue...
