Got violent food poisoning from a chefs special lunch.. pretty sure it was the miss soup
This is a good ride. The operator was most kind, and knew his skills well. Always under control on some very nasty streets. It was quiet. Which seemed to fit the vibe.
I visited here multiple times. Prob one of the BEST all you can sushi ive been to in SD!!! Quality is amazing but the price is quite expensive
Only downside is that you have to wait foreverrrr on the weekends. Like we waited for a server to take order foreverrrr on the weekends.. but they were nice and friendly! I would just try to avoid weekends.
Highly recommend.

This little gem in Mira Mess is a must-try if you are looking for good Japanese food and sushi. During lunch, you can select the all-you-can-eat option for about $30 per person. You’ll enjoy an expansive menu featuring a variety of rolls, sashimi, and Japanese dishes. Everything is fresh, made to order, and highlights good ingredients. I’ve tried quite a few items on the menu and so far, they’ve never disappointed! It’s definitely worth the wait—so be sure to check in ahead of time because there’s often a line. This isn’t the best sushi I’ve ever had, but everyone I have taken here has been impressed by how good it is. 10/10 would recommend checking this place out!

Food are great. This is a great place to try out new sushi and sample less common type of fish, squid, clam. The menu selection is good based on the usual preference of the American’s level of sushi.
At this time, there is no Ikura (Salmon Roe) nor uni (sea uchen) on menu for all you can eat dinner.
Can moderate large group seating.

Definitely my last time eating there
Zero stars. My son wanted sushi for his birthday dinner. They literally forgot about us. They brought out half of our order and took almost an hour to bring out the other half. Almost an hour! And no happy birthday song after I asked twice. Thanks for making him feel special 🙃
Surprisingly good & fresh and good quality AYCE. Good and fast service. Orders come out fairly quickly. Everything is made to order, so you do not get pre-made sushi (like many other AYCE places). Good selections and choices too. Fish is very fresh. Especially good deal for lunch ($30.99 mon-fri only) and still ok for dinner ($38.99).

Worse waiting time. The waitresses is not helping at all. No answers found reasonable by the manager. Terrible restaurant.

Sushi rolls were just OK. The nigiri was really delicious though! It was extremely busy and chaotic when we went on a Sunday @ 8pm.

I have never been to an AYCE sushi experience and I can proudly say that we took full advantage of their menu and pricing. I'm pretty sure my fiance and I ate sushi and rolls worth double the amount we paid. We had the takoyaki, almost all the nigiri options including the eel (which was worth the limit on the order), a hand roll, and the firecracker, lotus flower, UFC specialty rolls and the heart attack fried roll. The food was not out of the world but it was good. The nigiri comes out faster than the rolls. The rolls are heavy. We definitely recommend eating more of the nigiri than the rolls. We do not recommend the hand rolls. The servers will leave you alone but the moment your table is empty, they will come to ask you if you want to order more. Even though there is a 2 hour limit, I don't think they enforce it. We didn't stay the 2 hours since we were so full! All in all, this is a place you come to after starving yourself for a few hours so that you can do it full justice. We will be back but maybe not for a while. Even many weeks later, I can still remember the feeling of being full!

Great food, glad you can also buy a la carte. But still kinda expensive. The restaurant was very loud as lots of people and tables are close together.

The servers were really nice and attentive and the fish quality was great but tonight the rice was consistently sooo mushy that it kept getting stuck on my teeth and was a sensory nightmare in my mouth:( It kept happening throughout dinner for my sister and me.
