We love this place!! I’d come here every week if I could. Most authentic all you can eat hot pot in San Diego. Their spicy broth is so flavorful - I love that they use tallow instead of vegetable oil. I grew up eating a lot of hot pot in a Chinese household and this is one of my favorite spots in SD.

Our favorite hot pot place! If you come soon after they open for dinner, you’ll typically be seated immediately. The cuts of meat are always delicious and there’s so much variety in the noodle and sauce bar! Excellent value for how much food you get.
Parking: Parking is tough in this area but never impossible to find!

Liuyishou is now one of my go to spots for hotpot. I get the premium option at lunch, it has an unlimited seafood assortment including snow crab legs and the price is amazing, much cheaper than when I go any non ayce.
The broth options are really flavorful, and there’s a huge variety of options for meats/veggies/etc. There’s also a few non alcoholic drink options and desserts included, nothing fancy but it’s so nice to have a little sweet to cut through all the salt as you’re eating your body weight in meat ?
The service has always been so polite and helpful, makes the entire experience better. Delicious and a great value, love this place!

Unpleasant experience and completely unnecessary confrontation.
We ordered rice (not part of the all-you-can-eat menu), and when we had some leftover, we requested a box to take it home. There were also a few pieces of meat left in the hotpot, so we added them to the rice to avoid waste.
Suddenly, a different server, not even ours, came over and rudely informed us that we "would not be leaving with that box." I explained that the leftover meat would otherwise go to waste, and they confirmed that, yet refused to budge on their strict policy. This felt entirely unreasonable, especially since it was just a few scraps, not an attempt to take advantage of the system.
I even offered to leave a good tip if they allowed us to take the meat, to which the server snapped, "Are you going to bribe me with MY tip now?" The sarcasm and hostility were unnecessary. Well, it's simple—he just cost his coworker a tip, because I left zero. This kind of wasteful, rigid behavior is frustrating, and the way we were treated was downright rude.
We had been coming here every other week for months, but after this encounter, I won’t be back. For reference, the server in question was a tall white man with curly hair.
