Edit: I've been back since my first visit. The Americano is good. Everyone has been very nice
Original visit:
I asked for sugar no cream. When they gave me the coffee they said “cream and sugar.” I replied with, “it’s supposed to be just sugar.”
“Oh yeah, it’s just sugar”
It had cream in it.
I had to dump it when I got home.

I ordered a breakfast açaí bowl from this spot through uber eats. It was decent overall, but definitely not the best I’ve had. The base was the standard frozen açaí blend, topped with banana, strawberries, almond butter, and granola. While it was filling and refreshing, the strawberries didn’t taste very fresh—more like frozen fruit.
It was okay for a quick meal, but I’ve had much better açaí bowls elsewhere in San Diego.

this place has high potential but everything is suuuuper mid. my coffee was way too sweet, girl behind the counter lied to try to get us to buy something we didn't really want, the bravocado sandwich was.. really sweet? avocado was brown and bitter, the bacon was sugary? kind of a mess. the place itself is cute but the coffee literally tastes better at mcdonalds.... and that's really saying something.

The food here is super good... but most of us ordered sandwiches, which are the bomb, but one of us ordered a waffle, which didn't come out until everyone was done eating. It did look like maybe 1 person was working the food+coffee+register. All in all, it was a great, local little place! Didn't try the coffee, but food was good!

I’m shocked that this place is in an apartment retail location. They would crush just about anywhere. I ordered a Flat White with oat milk, smooth great flavor, the roast was perfect. The Sando is what blew me away. The croissant bread is amazing on its own, I almost didn’t want to eat it, it was a perfect flaky spiral. 11 out of 10. 1000% will be my new weekend brunch spot.

I’m apprehensive to post this because I don’t want too many people to find out about this place 😂.
But I’m pretty sure I just found my new all-time favorite coffee in San Diego. Fantastic quality, super smooth Americano, awesome vibes and friendly service!
Best of the Best!

Went for the waffles. They didn’t have any waffles available. I always finish my food but couldn’t get through more than a few bites of the Keto bowl. I regret tipping.
Delicious - fast - excellent service

The other reviews are right in that they don't have many keto/protein options but their cold brew is strong and delicious and the GOAT is good as well.

This place rocks! We loved it. The selection is great, and accommodates gluten free. The ingredients were fresh. It's a new take on a bakery cafe and the food was great (I ordered too much because I wanted to try a few things). The staff was nice.

Nice little place in an assuming area. Very nice employees that helped us understand the menu, made sure of any changes we needed, etc.
Food was good. Seating is mostly outdoors but not an issue since the weather is always nice.

Ekin (barista/host) was super kind when taking our orders and answering our questions. She was SUPER kind and very accomidating to food allergies/ preferences. I love their chai latte with oat milk and my husband loves their Vietnamese coffee (nonwhipped). We also got their breakfast bowls which were delicious and filling- the fried eggs are great and they accommodated the fact that I can't eat dairy and swapped the mozzarella egg for me.

Decent coffee & breakfast. Nice service (Turkish girl was very kind and chatty).
Really didn’t like the arrogant owner. Lectured me and my friends about where coffee comes from and honestly, felt discriminated as Italians. Never happend to me before in more than 60 countries I traveled to.
If I had okay coffee in a non great area of the city I would be a bit more humble, just a suggestion…

I went in tired AF looking for pick me up. The Barista suggested Vietnamese coffee. I'm hooked. I want it every day.
