Food is solid over all, I have been several times, and everything has been good enough for me to return. The workers have always been nice and on top of the orders. I only rate the atmosphere low because the place is small and the inside seating isn't very good, but it's clean and there are some nice little tables outside to enjoy during the nice summer days.

Had the carne asada and loved it. My wife had a taco salad with shrimp and said it was the best she had ever had.
Roberto’s is a SD staple. All my friends went to school at SDSU back in the early 90s. Many many carne asada burritos consumed in various states of consciousness. I went back today (concert at Humphries by the bay) and it absolutely did not disappoint. Haven’t been in 30y(!) and still freaking awesome as I remember it. Good value too. Burritos are huge and packed with carne and guacamole. Way better than Albertos/aldabertos/whatever it’s called.

At this point I don’t care if the food is good or not. 40+ minutes when you’re told 20-25 is ridiculous. I even tipped before hand, bad service does not deserve a tip. Never coming back to this place. Come here if you want people who order after you get their food first.

This new Roberto‘s Taco Shop in beautiful Point Loma is the perfect place for breakfast burritos, a wonderful Mexican lunch or delicious dinner. The owners are absolutely delightful and the staff and cooks really care about each and every meal they serve. The food is delicious and they even have real cokes from Mexico. Super easy to park and dine at. Indoor and outdoor dining.
Parking: About 10 parking spots directly outside of the restaurant and plenty of street parking.
Kid-friendliness: Beautiful and cleaned interior and totally kid friendly. Dining tables inside or outside.
Wheelchair accessibility: Right on the street and totally wheelchair accessible. The tables are wheelchair accessible as well.

Excellent food! I’ve never seen such fresh ingredients that weren’t minced before and their tortillas are perfect! Day two: Had chili relleno and cheese enchilada plate and creamy shrimp taco. It was all too delicious! ?
