Los Chilaquiles

A couple of authentic items you will not find anywhere else with original flavors from Jalisco. 1st: Tortas Ahogada. No one else really makes this in SD. Definitely the real deal just like a puerto in Guadalajara. 2nd: Cafe de Olla. This is the only coffee that I drink, and I have not been able to find a better place in SD (besides Maggie's Cafe, also in Barrio Logan). 3rd: Carne en su jugo. We arrive 30 minutes before closing. Owner and all staff were welcoming and treated us like if they just opened. Food was tasteful, beers from brewery next door (paid separately) were served at our table. Highly recommended.Thank you!

I recently visited Los chilaquiles and had an amazing time. The chilaquiles with their green and chipotle sauce were simply outstanding. The combination of tangy freshness and smoky spiciness was a flavor explosion. The friendly staff and inviting ambience added to the overall charm of the place.
