I was surprised to find this right next to the laundromat I stopped to use! Only gf option was lemon tofu and it was great, salty fried tofu balanced by mild rice and salad - very zesty, reasonable price, friendly, and great philosophy! Great discovery!

So glad there's one closer to my house now. A nice quick take out spot (or sit in), always tasty food! Parking in this location is not the best but I always find a spot.

Tried this place a while back with my girlfriend when I was still not vegan and loved it. Now I'm back and now I'm vegan and I loved it even more. We had the drum sticks as an app and were surprised at how much it looked like chicken when I took the first bite the sauce it came with was delicious as well and put everything together. Then I had the cha cha tacos and was even more amazed the sauce had a slight kick and the "sea nuggets" were so perfectly battered and crispy. It was like a party in my mouth! Definitely give this place a try the service is attentive and friendly you will not regret coming here !!! I would post a picture of the food but I ate it so fast I didn't have time to take a picture

The love of the loving hut, food is nearly unending, every dish we have tried, whether broiled or fried leaves us deeply satisfied and wanting more.

The food was great. The cook is the same from years ago at the other Loving Hut down the street. Service was fast. Food came out quick and tasty. The only bad thing is parking.

Loving Hut is in the same complex as 711 and a few mini shops. Parking here is a hit or miss and very tight parking. The restaurant is a family run business, it's a small restaurant. While I was there, I saw a lot of customers ordered over the phone for pick up. They had a few seating tables, restaurant is very clean, a small corner consisted of books, snacks and gifts to purchase. My neighbor who is vegan, wanted to show me this spot. We both ordered the Royal Noodle soup ( Bun Hue Chay), it's a vegan version of Bun Bo Hue. He had ordered his with rice noodles and I kept mine with vermicelli noodles, the soup was not spicy enough for me. I had to ask for hot sauces on the side. It was very delicious!! I was quite surprised, it was a lemon grass soup with soy slices, fried tofu, soy ham, mints, bean sprouts, cilantro and onion. Make sure you are not wearing white clothes while eating this soup lol. My friend made that mistake. We ordered the spicy cha cha mongo noodles and Pandan cake to go. The cha cha mongo noodles were made with yellow noodles, battered sea soy nuggets, beans sprouts, fried onions and special mongo sauce. It reminded me of Chinese egg dry noodles, they were pretty good. The pandan cake had this cream icing with coconut in the middle, not too sweet, you have to try it! Everything was made with love, the staff very friendly and helpful. I will return again and try out other dishes.

This location is closer to my home so I thought I would try it out! I usually grab food from the NP location which is an excellent vegan spot! Honestly not the best location but I didn't come here for the sight seeing. I'd advise ordering for pick up. Prices are reasonable for the freshness and quality of vegan food! I ordered the spicy cha cha -delicious, and my grandmother ordered the Noble eggplant, and I am speaking on her behalf as she has converted me to a more vegetarian/vegan dish eater.. she requested this location add more of the sauce you add for the Noble eggplant. Tofu and eggplant are sponges and it was too dry compared to the NP location. I hope this would be looked into and modified by the owners. Thanks for the yummy healthy foods you serve and bringing this into a location that somewhat lacks in vegan foods.

Most realistic vegan meat you will find in San Diego! In my opinion. Flavor and texture are on point!
