Luna Grill Clairemont

Every single time we order take out from here the order is wrong or missing food. It’s fine if we order and dine in. My last take out order, which was for a family birthday dinner was complete chaos. It wasn’t ready even though I arrived 10 minutes later than the pick up time and then I was told they were out of chicken and beef, which was my whole order. I was told to choose another item and when I told them to just cancel my order, they suddenly had chicken and beef again. When they handed me the order I checked it and instead of beef kebab it was lamb. When I said this isn’t beef they again said they were out of beef. I know when I order take out from here it’s always a mess but I just put up with it because the food is always good. But this time was the last. I will no longer go this location.

Update: Guest relations contacted me to apologize, refunded 50% of my order and applied extra bonus points to my club Luna grill account. I will definitely give this location another try.

Food is great but make sure you double check your order when ordering delivery/ pick up they often mix up orders or don’t include half of it. I’ve wasted a lot of money on missing items. I recommend always ordering through DoorDash and not their website that way you can at least get a refund.

I waited 25 min I was the only person is the restaurant not even busy for 1 plate of food not until the other girl was back from lunch I got my food so rude !!!! Literally this girl went to lunch right next to me sitting down. I waited until she was done so she can go get my food and give it to me.

I am a regular of this location. However I had such a bad experience today with the cashier’s lady in the counter that I am not sure I will go back again.
I ordered two meals and after repeated several times of what I want she still got it wrong. She is not very attentive to listen to the customer and have the attitude of don’t bother me. She has never repeated my order at the time and just ask me to pay. It is not very professional in my opinion. If you can’t even have smiling face when doing the customer service job and can’t get the customer order right. May be it is the wrong career for you.
In the end I did not get the right food I was there for. So disappointed and upsetting.
By the way Luna Grill raise their price again. That is another reason I may not go back to eat.

Given that I work in the area, I ALWAYS come here and I LOVE the quality of the food and the service is always amazing! Coco always makes the experience worth it as she is always coming out to make sure I don’t need anything, I even see her often taking plates from those who are finished with there meals. She makes the 1 hour break I have worth it, very personable and always has a smile on her face
