Madison Reviews
First time trying it. We got seated outside based on reservations and although we knew it was pretty hot, waiting for service just to at least get us water was so slow. On top of that we got small water glasses! For Sumner days, highly recommend providing bottles of water to be left at the tables so we don’t keep running out so quickly! Food was great and so were the drinks! I won’t be going back☹️
Amazing date night restaurant. Highly recommend the bar lounge for a date. The Gnocchi was out of this world! Everything was just perfect.
For the price, not worth it. Also, this is not a true Mediterranean place

Madison offers a mixed dining experience. While the food can be exceptional, with highlights like the pesto pasta, cherry tomato toast, and Chicken Fried Steak during brunch, the quality has been inconsistent, with some dishes arriving heavily sauced or soupy. The restaurant has a cute, eclectic, and bohemian vibe, often feeling like sitting outside on a patio. The front patio area provides a nice setting, though some reviews mention flies being an issue. The atmosphere is relaxed and lively, especially during jazz nights, which feature talented live music that adds to the ambiance without being overwhelming. The addition of jazz music makes it a great spot for casual brunches and gatherings. The service is generally solid and friendly, with staff accommodating dietary restrictions and reservations easy to make online. The mimosas are made fresh and taste amazing, enhancing the brunch experience. Overall, Madison is a unique space in University Heights, perfect for enjoying good food, live jazz, and a relaxed vibe with friends.
