The service at El Zarape was outstanding! Everyone is friendly and welcoming. The red and green salsas were good. However, the food itself was not great. I would recommend ordering for takeout as the dining area is dark and not a great atmosphere.
We arrived at 11:00am just in time before the Friday lunch rush. Food is so delicious. The flour tortillo we got is almost similar to the restaurant we went to in Ensenada, Mexico. Supreme breakfast burrito is toddler approved. Free chips that came with the burrito, is really good too. We also had the Ranchero steak, meat is very tender, wish they sell bread to soak up all that sauce. Lastly, we also tried a fish taco.

I came here reading that this was the best burrito in San Diego. This place did not disappoint. I had the House Burrito and the mole sauce was better than any mole I had growing up. Fantastic flavor. Highly
