We’ve been going here for years & love this place. The food is always fresh and quality is always perfect!! It’s also a nice place to take out of town guest. Try it if you haven’t. Over the years, it’s been a popular place and no one I know has been disappointed! ☺️
The Mandarin wok is a good little mom and pop Chinese restaurant. We ordered the pu pu platter appetizer, Jasmine tea, shrimp in lobster sauce and cashew chicken. Each entree came with 1 egg roll, steamed or fried rice and hot and sour soup or egg drop soup. Everything was tasty and seemed to be made fresh but not over the top with delicious flavor - just average. Service was excellent and the food came out quickly. The decor seems traditional. A very hard to find dish here in San Diego. I was not disappointed.
The staff were very polite very helpful . Kenny was friendly and conversational and went out of his way . I hope watched others come in and they received excellent service. Each offered cold ice water while they waited. Great communication. Exceptional courtesy.
