This place seems to really hate dogs. No dogs allowed on the entire property, including outside on the patio (pretty odd for both coffee shops and wineries which are usually dog-friendly), and they specifically note that emotional support animals aren’t welcome either. They also don’t answer the phones when we tried calling 3x to ask. The business should really note this on their website or Google Maps info.

Coffee was good! Beautiful passion fruit plants and surrounding buildings. Bathroom was edgy and industrial.

Such a cute place. The parking is wonky because handicap signs are in the middle of spots/lines are somewhat sketch. They don't open until 9am and many of us wish it would be easier as I'm usually done with coffee by 9. The brown butter latte's are so good and then there is the fresh baked goods and smoothies and ...need I say more. YUM! Great outdoor areas to sit and enjoy some quiet or company. Enjoy!

Cute coffee shop on the beautiful Bernardo Winery site. Got their tumeric ginger latte with oat milk and it was delicious! I'm craving it again so another trip is in the near future.

It was $4.50 so prices are still reasonable. The guy who helped us was very friendly and it was definitely great service.

I always loved Manzanita's coffee, unfortunately, I'm not sure what happened during the last two visits... My family member bought three drinks there and drove over to me. All three were terrible, so bad. It was disappointing we couldn't drink the $16+ worth of coffee. By the time we tried them, the shop was already closed so we couldn't go back. The next weekend, we went back again and mentioned there was an issue. The staff didn't offer a partial refund or anything and just had another employee make two drinks... These were not as awful as the prior time but, still, another wasted $11.

I'm unsure if it's a training issue, if they had a bad batch of beans, if they unknowingly used one of the milk alternatives, or if the machine was broken... Hopefully, someone sees this and can make sure things are checked up on. Every other visit before, the first sip of coffee was just the best.

Folks working their know what’s good, bro at the counter recommended against adding anything to my latte and he was right. The option of having hot coffee in a ceramic cup is great. The veggie sausage option for the breakfast sandwich also worked very well. Good vibes all around, except for the restroom, which is built…interestingly. 10/10 would go again.

The entrance to this shop is beautiful and the decor inside truly takes you to another place, but I did find it a little dusty.Service was great. The food is good, but I wish they had keto options. This place is great, if only they'd open a little earlier. By 0900 is working and family folks have been awake and started our day.

Great coffee shop on the Bernardo winery property. They’ve got Great Wall murals of workers and prospectors from back in the day. Good coffee and great pastries. They get their pastries from a well known Escondido bakery. The almond croissant was a home run. Really fantastic. Staff was friendly and quick . They have a decent selection of breakfast sandwiches and well. Ample seating inside the coffee shop and in the alley behind as well. They have Wi-Fi in the coffee shop as well which is helpful being all the way out in the boonies. Great coffee Team!!

I visited the place a few days before the new year and it is my favourite roaster from now onward. Amazing coffee beans. The place has a rustic charm and it is located in the Bernardo Valley in a beautiful winery. Whether it’s the ambiance or the coffee, this place is worth paying the visit. I ordered a cappuccino and latte with Avocado toast. Only one thing that I didn’t like was the very sour pickled onion on an Avocado toast. It doesn’t compliment the flavour palette of any coffee based drinks. So probably don’t order it together. But overall, I am going to be visiting this place as often as I can.

Best local coffee! Love the honey latte. Visit on Friday mornings to enjoy a small Farmer’s market.
