This place is no longer Mariscos Alex - the name of the truck was OMG El Original Mariscos German. The previous place was so good but this spot sadly didn't compare. Also no prices listed on the menu but it was $4 for a fried fish taco - much too high for the area. The taco was freshly fried but a little too breaded.

Food taste is okay, but it isn't what it used to be a few years back. The servings are small and the prices high, unfortunately. Also, the employees tend to be in a bad mood (specially at their Federal Ave. and 47th location). And if they are busy they end up messing up your order and then get mad if you say something or complaint. If you order anything besides a fish taco, you're gonna end up paying $10 and up per taco. I can't recommend them, unfortunately.

We’ve been coming to Mariscos Alex for years. We moved out of town and when we come to San Diego always stop by. Last time we came by the shrimp and fish tacos were a bit more chewy, like they were overcooked, otherwise, good spot.

I really wanted to like it here but I went to the one on 47th st and I guess they changed their name or it's a different truck but their was a hair underneath my fish taco , gross never eating their again. I list my appetite and threw everything out and their carne asada taco's were salty. I would post the picture but it doesn't give me an option on Google.

Omg the tostada de bola was amazing, to fresh and excellent ingredients. The pata and cóctel de camarón on point and refreshing. Will drive from Laguna any day to eat here. Keep up the good work! Al Cien!!

Got charged over 35 for a governer shrimp cocktail and a shrimp quesadilla, i was expecting it to atleast be fresh, but upon ingesting the meal, the shrimp/seafood did not taste good, it tasted old, not fresh at all, on top of it being very expensive!!!!! Would not

Garbage aquachile. Maybe 2 ounces of actual 'pescado'.... About, 1 entire cucumber. I hope you go somewhere else. This place is pure garbage. Carne asada taco looks like sh*tty ground beef. Never go here, ever. Probably a half of an avocado. You will never see business from me and everyone I come in contact with. The fishes tacos are good, not the best but good, good size piece of fish and its crunchy, cabbage ,tomatoe and there sauce! The shrimp taco sucks, all batter and mushy. I'm 59, born and raised here in PL! I had my first fish tacos in Ensenada in 1975 and my mom was making deep fried Rock Cod fish tacos from that point on, long before Rubios. My point, I know a good fish taco when I have one. South Beach in O.B. is my favorite.
