Food taste is okay, but it isn't what it used to be a few years back. The servings are small and the prices high, unfortunately. Also, the employees tend to be in a bad mood (specially at their Federal Ave. and 47th location). And if they are busy they end up messing up your order and then get mad if you say something or complaint. If you order anything besides a fish taco, you're gonna end up paying $10 and up per taco. I can't recommend them, unfortunately.
We’ve been coming to Mariscos Alex for years. We moved out of town and when we come to San Diego always stop by. Last time we came by the shrimp and fish tacos were a bit more chewy, like they were overcooked, otherwise, good spot.

This place is no longer Mariscos Alex - the name of the truck was OMG El Original Mariscos German. The previous place was so good but this spot sadly didn't compare. Also no prices listed on the menu but it was $4 for a fried fish taco - much too high for the area. The taco was freshly fried but a little too breaded.
