I’ve been coming to maya moon for the past 3 years. I’ve been a loyal customer!! I have spent ALOT of MONEY there!!! Today was my 33rd birthday! I walked in and saw the owner. She’s aware of who I am. I’ve spoken to her and she knows I’ve been going there for a while now. I’ve given complements on how I love the evolution of maya moon. How I love the art work and seeing all the new plants in there! Anyways I walked in the other day and mentioned to her, “hey it’s my birthday today.” She barely acknowledged my existence! Then I said do I get a free drink for my birthday? Half jokingly! Of course! She responded, “well do you have enough rewards?” I was like,”OMG!” in my mind!!! Rewards are if you buy 10 or more drinks you get a free drink. I had 800 points and needed 200 more points for a free drink. It ABSOLUTELY BOGGLES my mind that she couldn’t offer me a Free drink. It probably costs her like 3 dollars. I give tips every time of 3 dollars!! Of course people will say, “you shouldn’t expect a free drink.” I understand that, however the owner has seen me be a LOYAL customer for 3 YEARS!!! I have spoken nothing but positivity about the place to so many people!! I have brought in many new customers to maya moon! I ask her if she had 2 seconds to speak. She said no I don’t have time!!! You have to be KIDDING ME!! I will not be coming in to maya moon EVER again!!! Also there are 2 men that work there that have been disrespectful towards me as well. But there are also really good people that work there as well. Juslene the manager has been GREAT towards me!!! She’s also VEGAN!!!’ Kayla has also been great!! I love that she loves nature!!! She ACTUALLY TALKS TO Me. Sophie has also been GREAT ! She’s so FUNNY!!!! Sol is also so AMAZING!! She’s so SWEEt and funny !! I wish them nothing but the best!!!

This cacao shop is truly unique and unlike anything else you'll find in San Diego. The atmosphere inside is lovely, and the choices are exceptional, including cacao with lavender, rose, wild honey, or raspberry. You can even add espresso shots to your cacao. The only downside is the long waiting time; I had to wait about 15-20 minutes for my order, even when it wasn't busy. Despite this, I'll still give it 5 stars because the cacao was incredibly delicious.

And on top of that, they brought out the wrong drink first so we had to wait again for the second tasteless one

Hi. I just purchased 2 slices of toast and butter for $8. Jelly? I was told this was accurate with a big toothy smile. Maya mayahm... you saw our disappointment and Nada. Ain't coming back. Abnormal (cool) native but this gave me a rise.

Loved this lil cafe for a quick lunch. Great, interesting drink options + the overall vibe was very ~chill. Really set the tone after landing in CA from the east coast, loved it. Small food menu but good if you want a small bite

A modest cafe with (what appeared) a solo person working the drinks on a late Monday afternoon. I liked my tea and actually enjoyed my time here. I thought the staff was a bit, comfortable with speed, shall we say? Waited some time to order and while I am in no way advocating for McDonalds like service I think just a tad more speed or alacrity to the presence of customers would be appreciated. Will be back.
