These have got to be the best cookies I have ever had! I was visiting SD from out of town and found this place. I ended up making two trips because they were that good. Glad I was able to enjoy some great cookies and support a black owned business! And the portion size matches the price.

Whenever I go to farmers markets, Hillcrest or Little Italy, I always stop at mayas booth! It’s really great that they have an actual store to visit when the farmers market isn’t running.It’s off the 8 freeway and kind of tucked away but there are signs to help you find the store on the corner and there are few spots in the parking lot as well as street parking.The shop itself is pretty small to the point: they have merch, the cookies, and their kitchen in the back. They have revolving flavors, which is nice to have items and rotations to come back and try!!Snickerdoodle is my all-time favorite, but they are s’mores and chocolate chip are also very good.I really love this place because I am lactose intolerant so for them to be dairy free is awesome. Plus they taste amazing!If you are ever in the area or at one of the farmers markets, I highly recommend to stop and try them !Dietary restrictions: Vegan dairy free!
Delicious cookies at Maya’s! Hard to believe that they’re vegan as well! We got four cookies, chocolate chip, s’more, cupcake, and snickerdoodle. All very yummy. Friendly employee and very quick in and out. Hope they expand soon, could see them in a mall being very successful. Recommend!

I have been on a plant based all vegan diet ,but wanted to know if I would ever find a vegan sweet store my coworkers at the hospital said try Maya cookies I was not sure if I would be able to really get a vegan cookies so I went..... I got 2 dozen for all the people at work I tried one and I was amazed on how good it was. I told my coworkers I will truly go back for more soon. Glad I have something I can snack on that won't interfere with my vegan lifestyle. I would truly recommend them to other vegan friends of mine.
These cookies are legitimately delicious. I like them better than other cookie companies that are much more widespread.These are large soft cookies and you would never know they are vegan.They tend to be just slightly crispy around the edges, and soft, chewy and delicious in the center. In other words perfection.If you are on the fence, try them. You won’t be disappointed.Pricing is on par with other cookie companies. The storefront is small but customer service is friendly!

I just want to say, THANK YOU MAYA AND TEAM for sending these cookies in. I sent in my order on a Wednesday at 9:57 am not realizing the cut off for them shipping the same week was 10 am, and I was seriously craving these cookies for the past few weeks but didn't have time to order them. Knowing it was suuuuper close to the cut-off time, I wasn't sure if that order would count for this week, but it did!! AND I WAS SO HAPPY!! Y'ALL MADE MY DAY. Also I'm munching on them right now and it's just so perfect to pair with a fun youtube video or just reading a book. I love y'all so much! P.S. I heard about Maya's cookies from one of my friends in Cincinnati so thank goodness for vegan cookies because finding them aren't so easy in Ohio!
