There is no better sandwhich shop in San Diego than Cali Boys and no better sandwhich than their Italian sub. I love this place and I wish I had more free time so I could get there more often.

there has not been an more deserving 5 star review than for Cali Boys and their staff! the food has been phenomenal and although at first i was skeptical, i had hope because from the first moment of meeting Cali Boys you just knew he truly wanted to make a difference. you owe it to yourself to give them a go, they truly are 2nd to none! keep up the good work, it means more to your customers than you can imagine.

Great sandwiches. Poor business model. Many times you stop in and the wait, to make a sandwich is 30 minutes. Stopped in recently and was told the wait was going to be at least 40 minutes for two sandwiches. Wild. Consider additional staffing. Ended up leaving and likely losing business because no one wants to wait 40-45 minutes for a sandwich.

Every time I go in here they are all super kind and willing to help and give suggestions. I got my first sandwich from them today and split it in half for me and my babe. It’s pretty big I’m not that hungry . I comes with pickles on the side and pepper. I got the Philly cheese steak. Yummy yummy

Pricey deli subs and sandos but man oh man are they some of the best in San Diego.
Call ahead for your order as they are very popular and there's usually only one or two people making the food.
Great liquor store and selection too.
One thing that really stands out is how it's a family run establishment, and they are just the nicest people ever. Their service and the quality is worth every penny you spend there.
Oh! And they have a loyalty card, buy 10 and get one free! I didn't know that was still a thing!

Excellent sandwich, distinctly a cut above the usual fare. They are pretty meticulous in their preparations, this is not high school kids slapping together sandwiches for minimum wage. One of the best ways you can spend $20 for lunch.
Timeline from submitting my online order to it being ready at the store was 46 minutes. They are not fast. Plan accordingly, don't expect to walk in on your lunch break and order.
Best sandwiches in town! Highly recommended the Supreme Pizza Sandwich.
