Micheline's Pita House (Del Mar)

Good food but every time I order online and ask for extra sauces or for sauce on the side, I never get the sauces- they are delicious so this makes me sad :(

It's so good that people will lie to say they were in line BEFORE you. Never fear, the attendant set her straight. We used to go to Pita Pit but, we saw Micheline's on the Marvelous Muncher site. Wow !! These are amazing, ( the pitas, that is..).
You get to watch your creation come to life ! They take pain staking care to get your order correct, they are VERY polite and the portions were large enough to have the other half the next day !!
Definitely going back to try their Chicken Shwarma, ( they were sold out). Oh, and Mederteranian food is supposed to make you love longer. ( they have a sign ).
Go gettum', have fun and enjoy !!!

We come here a lot (even tip) but it would be really nice if those guys had a bit of customer service and showed at the very least, politeness. They never answer their phone which is a shame because we’d order pick up more. We’ve tried to call four days in a row and they never pick up.

It’s more like Indian than Mediterranean.. the rice spices tasted like curry. The hummus is fermented which tells you that it’s been there for a while. I would’ve returned it & got a refund but I was home already

Food tasted fresh, great flavors . He ran out of rice , so the rice portion was a bit skimpy .. didn’t make up for it in any way .

The person just assumed I’d be eating out , gave me a to go box , I ate the food at the establishment.

I’d come back . Definitely worth a try !

I come here every week for the chicken shawarma wrap which is awesome, but this time I went with chicken bowl and George did a great job on this, highly recommend it!

Order was incorrect on multiple things, half portion and worker didn’t even care what he put in the box, just put whatever, all 3 orders where incorrect, go to Solana Beach instead, orders are always wrong here

Amazing!! Best pita ever. And not a little better….worlds apart. Amazing staff, clean food, lots of parking, and the service was like stepping back in time when people were helpful and kind (think 1980s, I can’t speak to earlier).

Staff is awesome and so is the food.

Food is great, but new owners are considerably less generous, stricter, and raised the prices. Feels less like a friendly neighborhood place and more like a “sorry, new owners won’t allow that” place.
