I think this place is very dependent on barista. I judge coffee spots by atmosphere, staff and a cortado. The atmosphere was very loud due to the next door fitness class studio. The staff was fine but not particularly helpful or kind. The cortado was burnt. I could tell its burnt just by holding it. The taste of the beans seems fine but I cant tell because the milk sugars are acrid. 3 stars

I decided to check this place out, and wow was I amazed on how good this coffee was, I like trying out new places for coffee. This one I recommend. Good coffee bold flavor, the place looks very relaxing as well can definitely enjoy the coffee here or in the go. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. I had the Mexican mocha and it was very delicious m. Thank you

This is the hidden coffee gem North Park needed. $3.00 for a generous sized drip coffee (plant milk included) and it was absolutely delicious. I’m not sure what beans they used, but from my first sip I could tell this was a high quality roast. The barista was so friendly too, he asked if it was my first time and he told me a little bit about the store and how long they’d be open. It’s a very cute, modern aesthetic, motorcycle themed cafe, and the seating is minimalist stone yet very comfortable. I can’t wait to come back when i’m in San Diego again!

This is a cool little shop that is next to a butcher shop and an empanada place. The owners are a brother - sister duo that has taken their love and passion of brewing coffee and have turned it into a business. Even though they are a newer coffee shop, they have built a community that connects dog lovers and motorcycle enthusiasts. Midnight Animal Coffee is a chill shop that is all about bringing people together and centering them around coffee. You can tell that the team knows their craft with coffee and even though their menu isn't too big, the products they have are special and have a unique taste. I had an event there for a photography meet and there were a lot of nooks in this coffee shop that were so cool to take pics - like the motorcycle out in front and the cool bathroom inside. The shop is located in a strip mall and there is a parking lot with free parking, but since it is shared with other businesses around the area - the lot gets full pretty fast. You may have to park along the streets of North Park, but it's not too far of a walk. If you're looking for a place to chill, this is definitely a cool place to visit!
