Delicious! We got the dumpling and wonton egg noodle soup, the combo egg noodle soup (#27), veggie egg rolls, and fried dough ("donuts"). The donuts were warm, nice and crispy on the outside, soft and chewy on the inside. Egg noodles were delicious and broth for both our soups were excellent.

Fried rice was great,Lo men Mein was Meh. The noodles were so thin instead of authentic lo-mein noodles

As a long-time patron of Minh Ky spanning over a decade, it's disheartening to see the change in ownership. While the menu items have largely stayed consistent, there's a noticeable shift in taste and quality. It's not a drastic change, but discernible enough to make a difference. Surprisingly, the restaurant appears significantly cleaner now, which leaves me wondering if this has impacted the overall taste experience. Despite the alterations, Minh Ky still holds a place in my heart, but it's not quite the same as before.

I absolutely love this place and have been going for years. Great food for a reasonable price. Minh Ky is probably my favorite restaurant in general. It is certainly my favorite Vietnamese restaurant in Little Saigon, which is a high bar as there are many great spots in the area.

Love this place! I came here probably 8 years ago for the first time and went back recently. It was awesome. The duck our go to as well as their egg noodle soups. Great Vietnamese and Chinese menu! Parking is tough. Great service. Check it out!

The food was good, I gotta say the crunchy noodles and duck is all I really come for. This last time I tried a soup & it was just ok, but if you're looking for delicious duck come here. It's always crowded in lunch time so parking can get difficult plus seating but off lunch hours is best.

First time and we thoroughly enjoyed. Definitely a mom and pop, no frills no thrills, roll up your sleeves deliciousness. Every chili sauce, including hoisin, you need. You greeted nicely, smiles. Food service is smooth and quick. We also enjoyed Chicken Fried Rice and Walnut Shrimp. No pictures. It was too good and could not stop once we started eating :D We look forward to returning. We will!

Wonton Rice noodle ($11.95) - 3 star. First of all, the noodles should be rinsed in hot water first to remove the pee smell. I didn't like it because of the food coloring yellow. Bad for your health. And the wontons have a big chunk of pork fat in it. If you don't look, you will not notice at all.House Fried Rice ($14.50) - 4 star. It had 1 shrimp, a few chicken/beef/pork in it. It tasted like Chinese pork sausage fried rice.Service is 5 star.Parking is limited.Dirty looking restaurant but very popular. The place was packed on a Friday, lunch time.

It was pure coincidence that brought me here! I was planning on going to a nearby restaurant but when I got there, the place was closed early for the day for some kind of staff meeting. So I went to Minh Ky, which is the nearest open restaurant from where I was.I got the beef sate chow fun, kung pao chicken and an egg soda. Both beef chow fun and the kung pao chicken were delicious. The beef sate chow fun had plenty of beef, and flavorful sate sauce; kung pao chicken had lots of green peppers and onions but still plenty of chicken. I really enjoyed both dishes. The staff were friendly and kind enough to explain some other dishes that I was curious about. I'll definitely be back to try other stuff here.

Such a nice family-owned mom&pop's Chinese noodles soup restaurant that has been in the heart of SD for the past 20 years. My family & I come here at least once a week and we love love it every single time ! A new owner took over and carries on the friendly & homey spirit. This eatery spot not only provides food that warmth your heart & tummy , but also provides friendly staffs that are always attentive. Whenever you crave for a nice warm bowl of noodles soup or wonton, this is the place to go!!! Of course they have so many other delicious dishes that cannot resist. A must try!

Parking: Very busy spot. Lineups are crazy because this place is so popular and good value. I was lucky to get a table between lulls... as soon as my food arrived, I noticed there was a standing line outside that formed with 5 minutes. Food was fresh, quickly served, and steaming hot when it arrivedKid-friendliness: Saw a lot of families. Very popular place for a good reason. ?
