One of the best coffee bars in San Diego
This place is as pink as it is delicious! My friend & I were so happy to celebrate our birthdays here and enjoy the upstairs tea space. They individual tea bags & their flavors are made by this shop which were smooth and not overpowering. The prosciutto and vegetarian croissant sandwiches were flavorful and filling. I really appreciated the beautiful patisserie desserts, not only were they artfully crafted, but the flavors and chocolate were rich. You can tell the owner is putting so much love into this little shop, so please come by for an afternoon tea service or a quick treat. It’s worth it!
Suggestion #1: In my opinion, cold butter pads are a faux pas for tea service. A softened butter in a small dish alongside the lemon curd and jam would have elevated the scone experience, and I did express this to management.
Suggestion #2: A visual critique, perhaps wrapping the upstairs prep station in more of the florals would help as opposed to customers looking at a purple plastic table cover (cut off from being shown in my video cuz it wasn’t a vibe).
Beautiful presentation and excellent service
Macarons and butterfly tea had no taste. Ordered an hour before they closed and Sat at a table to enjoy my birthday treat. They seemed eager for me to leave and literally started sweeping my shoes. I left and won't be back.
Wanted some coffee and came across this cute all-pink shop. Ordered a flat white and was disappointed as I took my first sip; the espresso tasted burnt and not well-made. I also got some pastries and the quality was not worthy of coming back.
Maybe there can be more attention to the quality of products and not so much on the aesthetic of the place.
Miracle Potion is hands down one of the most beautiful coffee shops I’ve ever been to — it’s like an Instagram dream come true! Everything is decked out in pink — walls, flowers, décor — it’s absolutely adorable and perfect for that cute photo op.
It's conveniently located right next to the San Diego Santa Fe Amtrak station, so it’s a great spot to hang out while waiting for your train. We actually missed ours and had an hour to kill — this place saved the day.
I ordered a chocolate croissant but ended up getting what looked more like a chocolate bread bite. It was tasty, just not what I was expecting. The pink lemonade sparkling drink was refreshing and crisp, and their famous pink latte was surprisingly good — smooth, creamy, and Insta-worthy.
Overall, it’s a fun little coffee shop with a unique aesthetic and solid drinks.
Took my senior business class here for afternoon tea and it was magical! The food was great and the tea was sublime. We had amazing service and the atmosphere is delightfully pink!
absolute 10/10 experience overall. the waitresses here are so kind and thoughtful with their hospitality and i felt so invited. Me and my senior class hosted our final tea party at this location and they made this ambience absolutely amazing for us. i 100 percent recommend to book with them for any cute events you may have in the future. thank you so much miracle potions !!!

Their hours online and posted on their window show that they are open everyday. As someone visiting San Diego I was excited to try this place only to find them closed with no sign or anything…
They posted after 12:30 that they were closed on social media ?
Located in a convenient location close to Santa Fe railway station. This place caught my eye, as I like colorful coffee drinks. I got the iced rose latte, the coffee and taste itself was not out of world, it was decent. The ambience and service was great.

Very cute girls outting place and even a nice cafe to take your gf to in downtown. Even though the gimmick is pink, the cinnamon roll and coffee we got were actually good! Great photo ops downstairs and upstairs. Even some board games upstairs. My girlfriend loved it.
Only downside is parking, but that’s everywhere in downtown. Highly recommend
