Perfect August SD climate conditions to be outside on the rooftop of Manchester Financial to enjoy Forteleza Blanco Tequila, watermelon gazpacho, duck breast, salmon Wellington and lobster tail while watching flights land, the huge USA flag wave overhead and the dusk change to dark. Each meal was perfectly cooked! The staff was gently attentive and even got us in ahead of our reservation time!!
The service and food were exceptional! We booked it because my husband's family used to go there when they visited San Diego when he was a boy. It was better than he remembered. We will go again when we are in town.
Our waiter inserted himself way too much in conversation, and the conversation was all about himself. When I asked him to hold the sauce, when placing my order, he insisted that he serve it to me and that I try it. When the entree and the sauce arrived, I pushed aside the sauce. When he came to check on us, he saw that the sauce was pushed aside. He then suggested that I try it. My husband told him, that I did not want the sauce. He then removed it.
