This food is incredible! This has to be one of the best plant based Korean bbq dishes I've ever had! I am Korean and have been eating all of these dishes since I was a kid but stopped when I became vegetarian. I cannot believe how close this is to every dish I'm familiar with. Keep up the great work whoever is making this wow!

Would not order the chicken side. Only got 5 pieces for 8$. Basically all breading and was dry and chewy. Like when something is so dry but also soggy cause it was fried you can't even chew it

I’m really disappointed… I ordered 2 avocado bulgogi’s through ubereats and got a different bowl delivered that contained meat (I don’t eat meat). I confirmed on their official website they were out of avocado bulgogi so they just changed my order without attempting to contact me. I payed for way more than I received on top of it being wrong. I have proof of my itemized order and the receipt on the bag saying something different. I won’t continue to support with that level of carelessness…. I’m willing to edit this review if this is made right.

Food was good, but definitely poor value - to me that earns a 3. The amount of food received for a $20+ bowl was pretty skim, and biggest issue is that they provided barely enough sauce to cover maybe half the bowl. The other thing I find a but ridiculous is that they charge for utensils... in this day in age, that is just a bit obnoxious when every order possible is a take-out order from them only... again, food was tasty, but not worth the cost in my opinion. If you do go there, unfortunately I have to recommend paying even more for extra sauce or you will be let down.

Everything on this menu is spectacularly delicious, Super Fresh and appetizing. My favorites are anything with Crispy Ginger Fried Chicken and roasted tofu. I'm not a big fan of sweet potatoes so I usually opt for the roasted broccoli and mushrooms. The Jammy egg is perfect and for something that's a pickup menu the presentation is actually quite lovely and comes in a very stylish lavender heavy duty handlebag that you can certainly use a few times more. Their sauces and dressings are so delicious you will want to try all of them and there's a lot of choices. My only suggestion is this, if you're watching the salt and you order the french fries ask them to lighten up on the seasoning because it's pretty salty. Excellent customer service just text them if you have any comments or suggestions and they get right back to you. Also, in case you haven't figured it out yet, you have to download their app to place direct orders that you pick up yourself, of course you'll find them on all the food delivery apps that's how I first found out about them when they were having a two-for-one special. One last thing the bowls are big enough for a big appetite or you can save some for tomorrow if you see what I mean.

Food is tasty, but lots of room for improvement- sweet potatoes and broccoli are always undercooked, the last few times we got a bowl with avocado it was pretty hard. It’s one of the only healthy-ish takeout places in our area so we’ll continue eating here

Moon bowls is the best gluten-free Korean Kitchen I have ever experienced! Everything is delicious and crispy. I never get sick because they’re a dedicated gluten-free facility and it’s very fast when you place your order you just go pick up from the food locker!

We had a good experience. I had never been to the Barrio Logan Food Hub before, but you check in and pick up the food through a locker system, which was efficient, just a surprise.
We are gluten free and it was amazing being able to eat sauces and fried chicken safely. We are visiting from Nashville and we hope to see moonbowls there someday!
