Excellent breakfast on the newly updated menus. The portions were huge and the food was delivered to our table fast! The wait staff were friendly and helpful. Will be back to try dinner.

Great meal! My steak was cooked perfectly! I always get rare and it's not easy to get correct. They subbed carrots for me too. The mashed potatoes were soooo creamy. Everything was so well seasoned. My server was kind and attentive and thanked the chef for me. The only downside is the prices. YIKES. Glad it was on per diem

This is the restaurant in the lobby of Doubletree by Hilton. The prices are high, the food is of poor quality, the takeout meals are unceremoniously dumped into a box and served cold. They are definitely taking advantage of the fact that most travelers are tired and unable to grab a decent sandwich within a mile. I see exactly why the trash bins are chock full of taco bell wrappers, since it is close by.

This was not a good experience at all. Tge food was terrible. Nachos were soggy and stale, flatbread was undercooked and slimy, fries were undercooked and limp. After a long day of traveling it was beyond disappointing. The only redeeming quality was the cool neon sign at the bar. And don’t get a premium liquor because the charge is ridiculous. It was more than food.

Nice restaurant! Came in with group of 12 & was sat in back.Server was nice & friendly. Food was pretty good! The risotto with our scallops was under cooked though (crunchy!), so they re-did that. They mentioned that it's usually al-dente, but it was too crunchy for our taste :(.We were unable to order dessert, due to the kitchen closing.The rib eye was excellent though & cooked great! Our daughter had the mosaic burger & said it was delicious.Clean restaurant & easy to find parking on the property. Collected to the Sheraton hotel... beautiful walk to the sundial Bridge, too!

Staying at the hotel for a work trip. Food (dinner) was good and HH drinks are a good deal. It wasn't busy when I ate here but the negative reviews don't seem warranted. Granted, I wouldn't suggest making a trip here only to eat but if you're staying at or near the Doubletree Del Mar you can find a good meal here.

One star is for the prompt service but the food was simply awful. I placed an order to go which came out quickly, way too quickly! Shortly after I found out why. The Calamari was disgusting, as it was rubbery and tasteless. It was almost like it was cooked while still frozen. The harvest salad was so bland and lack enough dressing. It was the worst meal I had during my trip. I threw it all away.

Stayed at The Doubletree last night. Went down to the bar for a couple drinks and to order some food to go. The bar staff was great, very nice and attentive. Ordered a burger and fries to go to eat in my room. Unfortunately after getting settled in my room I went to eat my burger and I think they forgot to cook it, it was so rare I couldn't eat it. Very disappointed.

The literal worst tasting bland food. I ordered a Cesar salad with chicken. Basically they just put some romaine lettuce w cherry tomatoes and threw some dressing on. The chicken was pre frozen and they couldn't even put any seasoning??? I don't get it. They put zero effort. My husbands pasta was nasty. Also, zero seasoning and pretty sure it was canned sauce. Over priced. I'll never eat here again. How about add some seasoning to your food and show you care about making dishes.

We had just arrived and were hungry. Nothing around the area and we didn't feel like driving. So we decided to try Mosaic in the Doubletree Hotel. It's too bad how empty it was inside the facility. They can truly promote the restaurant just by being guests in the hotel. I know with Covid things have changed. But our waitress was very friendly and sweet. The one thing I did ask for was bread since I ordered pasta. The waitress said she has been asked that multiple times when patrons ask for pasta. I said to her "who serves pasta without bread". I felt it was overpriced. But, we were pleasantly surprised to see a breakfast buffet was offered the next morning which had a large selection and more patrons. Again, I believe it is all due to the marketing of the restaurant. It opens up to the pool and with so many families, they should be able to crank the business. The staff is very friendly. It has a full bar as well. Would like to see more items added to the menu for dinner.

As many reviewers have said, most of the customers at this restaurant are staying at the Doubletree Hotel. We came here after a long trip but I was disappointed. I ordered the salmon. I expected a whole filet for the price but it was about a third to half of that size. It was plated nicely but there was very little seasoning. We also tried the truffle fries which I recommend.

Patrick was so amazing to work with. The food was delicious. My father in law said it was the best catering he has ever had. I couldn't be happier with how great everything turned out for my sister's surprise party. Patrick and Kelly also helped us cut the cake we had, which they didn't have to do. I will definitely use them again if the need arises!!! Highly highly recommend!
