I’ve been here a few times now and it’s always a solid spot. The burgers are really good, the fries are on point, and they have a great beer selection. It’s a chill place to grab food, watch a game, or just hang out for a while.

The staff has always been friendly and the service is quick, even when they’re busy. You can tell it’s the kind of neighborhood bar where people actually enjoy coming back.

Fabulous pub food: wings, tacos and beer. Turkey and fish tacos are top notch! Can't wait to go back and try the burgers. Service is attentive and casual.

Super, super nice staff! Gave me the honest low-down on some chow and it was exactly as expected. Not Ruth's Chris, but a decent burger, and nice friendly staff adds a lot of points. Great place to go if you just want to chill and watch a game or visit with friends.

The one star is for the great service. First timer here. Ordered a cheeseburger with onion rings and a drink. For $27, I was expecting a more sizeable burger that wasn't a frozen patty, but alas. Here we are, not feeling so well and nauseous after eating. I'm just one opinion. YOU be the judge.

Mr. Peabody’s Bar & Restaurant is truly a hidden gem! From the moment you walk in, the warm and welcoming atmosphere makes you feel right at home. The staff is incredibly friendly, attentive, and on top of everything without ever being intrusive. The food is delicious, fresh, and consistently well-prepared — you can tell they take pride in what they serve. The drinks are great, the vibes are fun, and the service is always top-notch. Whether you're stopping by for a casual meal, a night out, or just a drink with friends, Mr. Peabody’s never disappoints. Highly recommended!

The sauteed onions on the burger were extremely salty. It was the worst hamburger I've ever had for $17.99+tax! It was also overcooked.

I noticed my previous review a few months ago is missing so I’m gonna just put another one here. I ordered the steak dinner which was awful. Steak was over cooked as I requested medium rare and very salty. Never saw my waitress after she placed the order. Had to go get my water refilled had to go get my own silverware and additional napkins. I’ve been to the other location in Encinitas, which is a bit better but, the staff is more “Salty.” I would say I would never come back to this place again.
