We have come to San Diego a couple times now and we love this place the food is excellent and the service is wonderful! If you want good authentic Mexican food I highly recommend. Plus it’s right by the beach so after you eat or before you can go on a nice beach walk.

My family and I vacationed in San Diego and popped into this cMexican food restaurant. After running my card, the first time he said, it didn’t go through and tried a second time. At this point, I checked my account and saw 2 charges pending, but he assured me they wouldn’t actually post because it did not go through on his end. After trying a third time and it still not working we ended up just using my nieces debit card to pay for our food and Venmoed her. And like I was worried about all three charges from their restaurant posted to my account. I contacted and spoke with the same person who I assume is the manager. I provided him with the last four numbers of my credit card for the refunds and the last four numbers of my niece’s card so he could verify he did get paid. Of course he never issued the refunds so I’m currently in the process of disputing the charges with my credit card company. This has been the biggest pain so beware.

This is the best Mexican food in Mission/PB.

The ceviche is great, the rolled tacos, the carnitas, carne asada. Our fam is kinda obsessed with the Buenos Dias burrito (add beans).

Also, the salsas and the rice n beans are fantastic! I judge a place based on their beans & these are sooooo yum. ✨

The burritos were flavorful and filling! The sauce bar was loaded with delicious sauces and they even had a good amount of spice (we came from Utah, that's rare here). We will be stopping by again for breakfast burritos next time we are in San Diego 👍

Got 2 shrimp taco and one chicken taco. The guy packed all in one and now we have to figure out how 3 of us can eat. The quantity was so less that we adults can eat like 3 more. No kids menu and charged me 10$ for rice and bean for kids. Overpriced non authentic Mexican food. Stay hungry or walk to a better place for your meal

Hands down one of the best California burritos I’ve had.

The steak was perfectly seasoned, the fries inside were crispy but still soft on the inside, and the whole thing was packed full without falling apart. The guac? Game changer. Fresh, creamy, and not overly salty — it took the whole burrito to another level.

Everything was hot, fast, and flavorful. This is that late-night, comfort-food perfection you hope for in a spot like Ruiberto’s. Will definitely be back. Highly recommend grabbing one with guac — totally worth it.
