I had an amazing experience. The tea taste incredible. I also did a 30 minute foot bath and was able to get a lot of toxins out of my body. I slept like a baby that night. I will definitely be coming back !!!!!

I didn't want to write a bad review & gave this business (detox lounge aka TEATOXERY on IG & Google) many chances but feel I have to this time & put others on notice. I love supporting small businesses but I gave this business FOUR chances & was stumped each time. Back in September 2020 I went once & had a great experience. Thereafter, I attempted to go 3 other times that same year & the business was abruptly closed on those 3 occasions. I had even messaged the business owner letting her know that I would be going in with my friend on a specific date & time & she said she would be there during those business hours. I scheduled out a time to go, left work early, paid for metered parking only to see the business closed. I never received a call or message to let me know she wouldn't be there & the business would be closed, even though we had been messaging previously. Later on, the business owner apologized even though this had been the third time that she had done this, & offered a free foot detox. I was so upset and bothered by the lack of courtesy & professionalism that I didn't even care about the free detox bath I just didn't want to go back. Fast forward to now, January 2022. Time has passed and I figured, she probably has her s*** together by now. Again, because I love supporting small businesses I figured that I would give it another shot. I went back to our thread of messages on Instagram and remembered that I had that free detox bath. I called to remind the business owner of this and asked if it would be possible to come in. I planned on purchasing sessions afterwards if all went well. She seemed a little bothered and said "well we've already been open over a year but I'll honor it". I was a little shocked & almost didn't schedule the appointment but I did. I had also sent her a message on Instagram which she later replied to saying that she was looking forward to the session and if anything came up and she needed to cancel she would let me know. The day of the appointment came & again I left work early, paid for parking, scheduled out that time & I get there, & the business is closed!! I had never received a call or a message to let me know. I called & messaged the business & gave it 15 minutes before leaving hoping she was just running late. No one answered, responded, or showed up. The appointment was Thursday, January 6 and today is Monday, January 10 & I still have not received a message or response. Later that same day the business owner was making posts on Instagram for the business yet I had never received a call or a message regarding why business was closed when we had made an appointment for that day. Today she just Shared a story on Instagram encouraging people to directly message her for appointments even though she still has not read or replied to my message. Unfortunately this is just bad karma. Extremely unprofessional. As a small business owner myself, I believed the business had potential. Unfortunately, now I believe otherwise with the manner it's being run. I am now going to another small business for the same services.

Went for my birthday to do a unique experience together with my wife and 4 of my friends. They have 6 detox chairs so it was perfect for us to all sit together for a 30 min detox. I felt amazing the rest of the day-very energized. I got the pounds off hot tea and tried an energizing shot as well. I’ll definitely be back. Thank you to the staff for being so attentive and helpful.

So so many aspects to talk about here, I hope I can do it some justice and hit all the main notes and not leave anything out. First things first, let's talk about location, this spot is in Hillcrest, right on University so it is in a high foot traffic area, but not a whole lot of room for parking (I'd suggest making use of the Ralph's parking lot, and just walk back across the street. Secondly, I wanna talk about the space for the little Lounge, there is plenty of seating, both indoor and outdoor inclosed in a patio. Next let's talk about some of the things they offer inside the shop, both sales and services. They have a steam sauna, cupping, electro feet stimulator things. They have drinks, snacks, plants, and offer CBD extract for your drinks. The ladies in the cafe were super involved, answered questions, and were super sweet. They also have games at a ton of different side tables and people can play games during their visit, with options from bar seating, couches, and tables. As for the actual drinks, I know they had options for coffee and lattes, but I picked a make your own tea, and my boyfriend picked one of their specialty teas. I thought it was a beautiful thing to watch and a great tea. One super cool thing about this place is that they brew fresh tea for every visit, and their iced teas, they freeze one of their base teas (green, black, herbal) so they don't water down your tea when they ice them. I will be going back for sure, and I suggest others visit it too because it can be a very personalized experience, and or even just relaxing.

My detox lounge is pure magic! I stopped in for the "most unique tea experience" and was not dissappointed. The focused energy tea shot is a mood booster, and the immunity and cold buster ice teas are delicious. I came back to do the ionic foot bath and purchased an extra bundle of the Zaaz machine. Definitely check this place out!

Amazing place! Sip a delicious hibiscus blend herbal tea or a low acidic organic coffee and soak away toxins at the same time! The lovely staff are very welcoming and helpful. After the 1 hour ionic foot detox bath I felt light and refreshed! The staff kindly explained based off the colors in the water where the toxins are coming from within the body. This is my new favorite lounge in Hillcrest. The "Pounds off" tea is delightful too. Bring your friends! Ask about their other available holistic health services they offer. And try their yummy vegan snacks! Cathrine, the owner is super awesome, go support this local women owned business today!
