Ice cream parlor with Mexican cultural flavorings and an Art house? Color me intrigued. I have come here several times and the only time I am disappointed is when I miss it by a couple hours. When you walk in and hop in line, take a look at the menu on the wall. There are a lot of interesting creations on there and one of my new favorite toppings, the spicy crickets. They allow for samples, which always surprises me that some places don't. The avocado and pistachio ice cream is surprisingly one of my favorite flavors. They were do some interesting variety of flavors, marzipan, elote, strawberry and some coffee mixed one. They have a variety of toppings and can make cones if that is your speed. I got the pistachio and avocado flavor and asked for the chupalinos(spicy crickets). I think they rotate some of their flavors because one of my old pictures shows just a pistachio ice cream but they definitely had avocado and pistachio ice cream the last time I was there. They take card and instead of leaving if you turn to your left if you are facing the cashier they have art leading back to an art gallery in the back. The art is for sale and they have a lot of interesting and cool pieces hanging up. Maybe you see something you like or want to support a local artist. I love this place and it shows a uniqueness that makes it a place that I talk about to all my friends who love ice cream.

Came here after dinner in Barrio Logan. The ice cream and sorbet were all homemade and there were some interesting flavors Mazapan, Mexican chocolate, guava sorbet, mango and strawberry ice cream. I chose the medium size because I could get 2 flavors; Guava sorbet and strawberry ice cream. The guava sorbet was the favorite of the 2 it was light and refreshing and had a nice guava flavor, I wish the strawberry was a bit creamier. Service was friendly and patient, its a small shop and because its in Barrio Logan, parking is all on the street. It also seems to be the only dessert shop in the area so if you happen to be there for dinner don't hesitate to drop in after for a little treat.

I’ve been making my own ice cream since I got the Ninja Creami for Christmas. So it was nice to have some from a creamery. I’m also aware of ice cream ingredients and I like that this is on the lighter side.We were able to sample flavors. I ended up getting avocado pistachio. I didn’t taste much avocado, I think it was used as a base for texture. It did have a strong pistachio taste and had bits and pieces of pistachio. My friend got coffee and that was delicious. Had a mocha flavor. We both regret that we didn’t sample Mexican hot chocolate. They also serve drinks. As well as elote! I loved that they offer different cup sizes.

This cute lil place in the heart of Barrio Logan is definitely in my top 5 favorite places for ice cream. The woman behind the counter was so sweet (no pun intended). My husband and I shared the Mexican chocolate ice cream. Holy cannoli was it AMAZING. The taste, the texture - everything!! It was super chocolatey with a hint of cinnamon, and I definitely tasted marzipan. It was SO creamy without any ice crystals. I want to try more flavors!!! They don't have much seating, but they have lots of local art throughout, so check it out!

I enjoyed a Coke Float with Vanilla Ice Cream, using Mexican Coke, known for its use of real sugar without chemicals. The art inside the establishment is truly captivating. Additionally, there's seating in the back with air conditioning. Take a moment to appreciate the artwork displayed on the walls through a few pictures.

We came here after eating lunch down the street in this themed part of town (Barrio Logan). The shop is small and unassuming from the outside, but once you enter, it is a wonderland. They have a lot of flavor options for their ice cream (not Mochi as you may be confused by their name). I believe Los Mochis is a town in Mexico it is named after. We got the Coffee Almond Fudge and it was so good!! It was really creamy and the prices were reasonable too. Once we got our ice cream, we wondered to the back down the hall where there was art all along the sides and into a small room featuring more art. There was someone there working on some art that we were able to watch. We didn't spend too long inside, but long enough to finish eating while we perused the art.

Cute ice cream shop in Barrio Logan. Perfect for sitting down to eat it there or to eat while you walk the streets filled w/ many cute shops.Connected to an art gallery, so I ate my ice cream while enjoying the art.I asked them to warm up my cookie, but thankfully it had just come out of the oven. The perfect balance of a warm cookie w/ ice cream.

Wide variety of flavors you can't get anywhere else! Friendly staff. My family loves coming here! Parking can be wild. Be sure to check the schedule because I've talked it up to friends only to come on days they're closed. But when they're open... Worth it! They even have a fun sense of humor!

Omg this place is so good. We got the La Favorita (amazing), hot cheeto elote (also amazing) and the cookie dough ice cream (also also amazing). I'm v picky about ice cream and this place is now in my top three places in San Diego. And the elote was the best I've ever had.Super cute gallery attached and the lady at the counter was so nice! Will definitely be back.
