It's a little tight and sometimes loud, but we've always enjoyed our visits.

A very disappointing dining experience. My friends and family and I will not return. Both of the fish dishes are served with spinach that I am allergic to. I asked if another veg could be substituted and the server said the chef does not do substitutions. I asked her to please inquire as it is an allergy not just a preference. She returned letting me know the chef said no as if he did it for me he would have to do it for everyone. I am not sure how everyone would know, but she was firm. I did not wish to embarrass myself and friends further so I paid $50 for a piece of salmon and a side of mashed potatoes. The manager never came by or inquired in any way. I was very disappointed in the poor treatment and lack of concern.

Get the ribs with mashed potatoes. You can eat them with a fork and knife. Delicious.

Very nice place and great atmosphere but payed 100+ usd to eat the saltiest baked potato in my whole life. I’m a doctor. That amount of salt isn’t healthy for anyone.
Also the floor was super sticky, idk you don’t expect that lack of hygiene in a place like this.
Would I recommend it? No. Would I give it another shot? Of course.
One thing is certain, our waiter was super friendly and helpful with our order. So the service was great.

third visit, i guess we are regulars here now. the seafood dishes are excellent, the sauces are outstanding. service is hit or mis, friendly when they come by but often forgotten for awhile. still strong recommend.
Everything was very good. Excellent service. Restaurant was a little loud for my liking. A foursome (table) would've been ideal, but we ended up with a larger table because we had 5 in our party. We prefer original, authentic Mexican food. I've wanted to try South of Nick's. Glad I did. Fun place to celebrate a BD. However, we prefer Nick's❤️
Amazing service and amazing food and drinks. This is our favorite Mexican! Just hope they will do the pop-rock margarita like the San Clemente location!
The food and service was good, but they were out of quite a few dishes, including multiple fish and chicken dishes.

Had a wonderful birthday lunch at Nick’s at One Paseo. The asparagus fries were quite good, also loved the California salad and finally the warm butter cake. Definitely going back!

All your Margaritas are very small in a tiny glass filled with ice. Barely got 4-6 oz. Who are you kidding? Not me.
